	Evening. I haven't been online much today -- my bad -- but I got a lot done so there's that. Two mice were in the traps this morning and Moonie has just gone up to check them again.

	Afternoon. Skywise just left and I'm going to rest my knees -- which hurt like hell at the moment -- while I get caught up. Between yesterday and today -- so far -- five or six mice have been captured at the Old House. I've lost count of them and so has Moonie....

	No rain today -- so far -- and my lungs are starting to complain about the air quality. This keeps up, I may need a N-95 mask to make it through the rest of the week.

	Afternoon. Heat Advisory in effect. No Air Quality Alert but that's because we do have some wind to keep things stirred up. Moonie informs me that the Prince has caught one of the cheeky chipmunks that have been taunting the cats. My knees hurt like hell and, bad as I hate to, I'm going to take some painkiller. I'd like to get something useful done today and the way I am now, it ain't going to happen. So.... aspirin.

	Dealing with a pain in the butt on Facebook. She's "Gen X" with a superiority complex. I am NOT amused. I made one last reply and I've started "laughing" at her posts which "should" infuriate her.

	Afternoon. Skywise is on his way to work and I'm getting caught up. It's much, MUCH cooler today and the humidity is down too -- still high but better than it was. The "pain in the butt" I was dealing with last night didn't get the last word in. The admin of the group cut off comments. She strikes me as the type to be incensed by that but I'm hoping she'll let it drop and go off and sulk somewhere. Personally, I'm going to get caught up before I get started on my chores.

	Currently stuffed with gravy and biscuits. It was a near thing but I managed to avoid getting butter and jam on the keyboard. Yes, I know. Today's breakfast was very "high carb". I'll be back on "reduced carbs" for the foreseeable future starting right now.
