	Afternoon. Another busy morning. Still hot. We had lunch in town and stopped at Walgren's and bought new cane for each of us. I don't use mine as much as Skywise does but I've been using mine longer and the grip was getting "sticky" so I got a new one too. Skywise is on his way to work and I'm getting cooled off before I start on my list.

	Just found a YouTube clip from The A-Team. Gonna have to get the DVDs. The show premiered when I was pregnant with Moonie. Don't know if there was any pre-natal influence but I'm pretty sure it's something she'd enjoy.

	Afternoon. "Hot and Humid" continues. Hoping for a break soon. I shouldn't complain. It will be colder than Hoth soon enough. The Alton's new medical book arrived. That sucker is a TOME! It's gonna need one of my special covers to protect it. I'll get started on it today since I have the book in hand and can make it to measure. The other book I'm waiting for -- hopefully relevant to the course I'm taking -- STILL has not been mailed. The author's excuses are wearing thin. He bit off more than he could chew by handling the packing/shipping himself in addition to his home based business. I will NOT be ordering anything else from him until/unless he writes a "Volume 2" of this book and it looks like it is worth my time and aggravation...

	The news alternates between heartbreaking and infuriating. I dare not post what I'm thinking on FB 'cause I'd get banned -- probably permanently -- and likely have either the Secret Service or the FBI-- if not both -- at my door and THAT is something I do NOT need. That my sentiments are shared by most if not all of the country is beside the point. Those currently calling the shots do NOT share that opinion and until they are removed, one has to be careful about what one says..... It's shaping up to be a very long four years.

	A "currently" Cat 4 hurricane is expected to come ashore on Sunday. We "might" get some rain out of it midweek. We could sure use it, around here anyway. There's been rain all around us but nothing here.

	My book is now at the regional distribution center. As of 10:36 pm anyway. Hopefully soon to be on a plane to Chicago, Indianapolis or Cincinnati -- preferably Indianapolis but that will depend on what plane it is loaded on. Still looks like Monday delivery.

	Afternoon. We're back from Home Depot. We got what we needed for two major projects. One for Skywise and one for me. He is currently working on the back porch roof. It's hot but not as hot here as it is in the city. I'll start mine later. I wanted to get the materials before the price went any higher.

	Third load of laundry in the washer. Went into town for a light dinner. I'll probably have a snack later to take my pill. My book is in Indianapolis, it arrived at the airport at 4:28 and is now downtown. Barring a massive "scanning" screwup, delivery on Monday is assured. Post # 45,111

	Skywise has been using the computer to get caught up. I had to take a painkiller at 10:30 and I'm STILL in pain. I don't want to think about how I'd feel if I hadn't! Heading out. 	Afternoon. The porch roof is finished. At least Skywise is down off of it and he didn't get rained on. We're hoping for a good period of rain out of Ida. If the track moves north a little bit we should get a good soaking. My book is downtown and has been scanned "out". That means it's on the dock/in a truck waiting to head into the local post office later tonight. Don't know when the letter carrier will make it out here tomorrow -- it will be Monday after all -- but it "should" get here. Finally. TWO DAMNED WEEKS LATER THAN EXPECTED. The damned thing had better be worth it!

	Afternoon. We made a quick run to Home Depot to return a package of shingles Skywise didn't use. I got more wood for my "trunk" project which I needed because I realized that I needed to redesign it. We also ate before coming home. It's rained and more is expected. My book is out for delivery.
