	Afternoon. Busy morning. My lesson showed up at 10 am. The teacher had a child- related family emergency. Hopefully not too serious. Skywise is out "doing stuff" and I'm tackling the dishes and getting a load of recyclables ready. Time to get back to work.

	Evening. Had dinner at Fazoli's. Ate WAY too many carbs. (Pasta with alfredo sauce and chicken plus breadsticks) Gonna have to be "super-good" tomorrow although I WILL be having butter pecan ice cream from Ritter's after lunch. 	Evening! Busy day! Went to the State Museum. Ate lunch -- bypassed breakfast all together. Stopped at Ritter's for ice cream. Came home. Crashed for two hours. Went to Gatti's for dinner. Probably ate too many carbs -- again. Now back and getting caught up because tomorrow is going to be another busy one.....

	Evening. Another busy and, to a certain extent, hair-raising day. We went to Louisville today. The entire route was under a heavy downpour. We nearly lost traction several times. We got to the Chick-fil-A we normally eat at when we got to Louisville and while it was open, the dining room was closed! Since I was expecting it to be open, we weren't prepared to eat in the van. We managed but it wasn't pretty. We crossed the river, got to the museum and parked. We pulled out the umbrellas and found them soaked. There is a leak in the van and the entire floor was soaked and remains so in fact. We spent a few pleasant hours at the museum and by the time we left and started home the rain had stopped. This was because the rain had moved north out of KY. We drove home in the same downpour that we'd gone through going down. We finally get to the DQ we always stop at on our Louisville trips and..... THEIR DINING ROOM WAS CLOSED TOO! To add insult to injury, the person who took our order was apparently new and NOT a native speaker of English. We ate our treats on the road and got home before anything else happened. Moonie is pretty sure she knows where the water is coming in at so we'll start trying to dry the van out tomorrow. Right now, I gotta get dinner going.....

	Afternoon. It is STILL raining. A cold "fall" rain. Since we didn't get to Greenwood on Saturday we went today. Got a bunch of stuff and got rather wet. There is a mouse trap under the computer table because there was a mouse running along the top of the sliding door curtain this morning and no one -- feline or human -- has caught it yet and Moonie saw it under the table so that's were a trap currently is. I am now going to get caught up since I can't type worth beans at the moment....

	Afternoon. We went to Home Depot, Arby's (for food), Spirit Halloween (which we had to hunt for), Half Price Books, Meijer and DQ for ice cream snacks. Skywise and I took OTC painkillers which, if they're working, are not working all that well. I'm going to do a quick "catch up" and then get prone. Maybe that will help with the pain. It can't hurt.

	Afternoon. Back from the Old Town Waverly Festival. Today's painkiller -- which was different from what I've been using the last few days -- worked a bit better today. I'm not pain-free -- never am anymore -- but I had less pain.

	Just renewed the plates for the van. Much easier than in past years. The website is more "user-friendly".
