Darkness isn't a bad thing, we do need to keep it all nicely balanced here!! I believe that a person should know darkness as well as light, we are made of both, just most people can't face the truth of it. You can't truely know yourself unless you know both sides of yourself and are able to accept them as a part of the complete whole.

I feel sad for people that cannot see their complete selves, they are missing a very important part of the whole picture, and of course are often the first to put others down for what they do. I believe all things happen for a reason, light and dark are meant to be just as the night and day, it is both necessary in order to see the complete picture. No one likes it when bad things happen, but are they really bad? They are just an occurance that is part of life to bring change, growth ,and learning. Without it, we would stagnate and go nowhere, there would be no reason, no hope, no goals, nothing. When you learn this lesson, it sure makes life alot easier and less depressing! Yes, I am saying this out of experience!! When you quit trying to control everything and let it be what it is meant to be, life gets easier and makes much more sense.
