Order of Dark Knights

Not much is known about this secretive organization. What is known and widely agreed on is that the members, the Darklords and Darkladies, are the most feared warriors in the world. When the Darkness in their souls is engaged the only way to stop them is to kill them -- instantly. And even then, that is no guarantee! Membership is granted only after an apprenticeship is served under a mentor and one must have "the Darkness" in one's soul to be accepted for apprenticeship. No one outside the Order knows who the leader or leaders are, where the Order has its headquarters or if there even is one. Of the well known Darklords, the most famous is the Darklord Kodiak whose recent handfasting to Penthesilea, the Keyholder of Valcaria has made him, in addition to being one of the most highly regarded and feared of the Darklords, the one holding the highest political office -- that of Consort to a reigning Queen.
