     *Penthesilea stared at the sword on the bed and considered. When she had needed it in MoonCat's lab, her sword had not come at her call. She didn't know if the enchantment that had kept it from her hand was canceled and even if it was, it could be put back. She had other weapons on her person but still... She made up her mind. She picked up the sword, wrapped the double wrap belt around her waist and buckled it. With a spoken word, the sword, its scabbard and the belt became invisible and intangible. It would only appear if she went to draw the sword.*

Penthesilea: Thank you, Ashera. *As much as she wanted them at her back, she could delay her appearance no longer. Taking a deep breath that threatened to bring her out of her bodice, she opened the door and entered the Great Hall...*

     Much to Satira’s disappointment, Daemon had cut short their dalliance in order to appear at dinner. When Penthesilea came through the tower door into the Great Hall Daemon and Satira, as well as Torao-Akio and Orag were waiting for her. Penthesilea smiled brightly and led the way into the Dining Hall.
     Dinner went off without a hitch with Penthesilea and her escort sitting at the main table with the suitors sitting in places of honor but not too close!

     After  the meal was over, everyone retired to the Ballroom where a program of chamber music was scheduled.  The first two selections were performed without incident then a different group took the stage. Within seconds of their beginning to play, Torao-Akio knew something was wrong and sent a flash of warning to Satira, knowing that she had enough elven blood in her to get the warning and relay it to Daemon. It was a binding spell, very complex and subtle, and aimed at the Keyholder...
