you always feel the need to critcise
my thoughts, my looks, my actions
even though you are no better than me
you believe heart and soul you are.

but i could tell you differently
that really, you're a nothing
with no respect, from not just me
but those you call your friends.

If you paid attention to them
instead of fussing about your hair,
you'd find they're worth a lot more
than you give them reason to believe.

If you can't criticise yourself
you have no right to criticise them.
