*warning, not for those wanting a happy cheery poem*

Death.

It is everywhere
The withered trees,
Brown, dead grass
No longer green

Ever growing graveyards,
Built up piles of
The rotting dead.
Those never reached heaven.

A baby cries for her mother
That is never coming back
Death has taken her.
One more for the toll.

Famine spreads
Killing all within its bounds.
The hungry jaws of death
Waiting for its victims

feel free to read the other ones i've posted here...
I'm waiting for a bit before I post another...gives people time to read them without being bogged down by about 5 at a time
