Ever since I posted that heavily depressing "Because Nobody Cared", I have been thinking about writing a positive counter part even things out. So I took a notepad, a pencil, and an eraser and got to work. And lo, and behold, something uplifting from MoonCat! I am trying to cheer people up after that depressing melodramatic spell I've had. Before further adeu, I bring you "Because Someone Cared"!

A rose garden is getting the care it needs,

A young cat asserts his independence,
because someone cared.
A child whose life is cut short is mourned by a community,
because someone cared.
A man finds a moment of peace in a mad world,
because someone cared.
A homeless person gets a hot meal and a warm bed,
because someone cared.
A tortured soul finds itself in Paradise,
because someone cared.
Two lovers were reunited after a long time apart,
because someone cared.
I have a wonderful family who stood by me when I feel bad,
because someone cared.
