	I'm kinda jumping the gun with this but I can't help it!! Two of our Admins, Deirachel and Black Rose are, as I type, attending the volunteers' meeting for DragonCon. They will be attending/working the con on Labor Day weekend. And we who will be stuck at home that weekend expect a full* report!! 	It occurs to me that when we get around to attending this thing, I'm gonna need a costume or three.... I love playing "dress up!"

	That's the biggest disadvantage working in our department....and being directors for it. We can't costume up while we are on duty...and officially we are on duty all the time. So, we wear ethnic clothes (saris/salwar kameez for BR, Kurta Pyjama/Jodhpuri/kilts for me as an example), goth out, etc.... But, seeing the costumes is great, too.

	I know. Watching the people in costumes was more than half the fun at Celebration III. It was kinda confusing sometimes though since the 501th was doing security and sometimes you had to look twice to know if they were security or just someone in costume. ETA: "sigh" Needed to add an important missing word.....

	It has occurred to me that pulling out and updating my "DarkLady" persona might be a good idea since her outfits weren't too different from street clothes. I'm going to get to DragonCon someday and you can't start planning too early!

	DragonCon is currently in progress and D and BR are, no doubt, being run ragged judging from the number of guests scheduled to appear! I don't expect them back here before Tuesday and I wouldn't be surprised if they don't get here until Wednesday or Thursday. I will attempt to contain myself until they get back. And it has occurred to me that when we finally get there, all the admins of this site will be in one place. No one will be watching the "store." Note to self: Add a Mac laptop* to the "pre-con" shopping list so we can check up on Sanctuary at odd moments!

	Well, Dragon Con is winding down. I just checked the schedule. Childcare closed about an hour ago and the ConSuite is shutting down in about 40 minutes. Legions of con-goers are heading out and the con staff are tying up the last loose ends. And in D and BR's case, they still have to drive home once their duties are done. And it is a bit of a trip....

	Yes, we are back! For the record, we leave on the wed morning prior to dragon, and return on the tues afternoon after, getting home after dark, usually. So our actual con week trip consumes eight days total. Not to mention five director's meetings and three staff meetings during the year! So, a full report will be forthcoming, but considering our limited exposure to the con as a whole, don't be too harsh! Black Rose
