	The predicted warm air is moving in, it is now 33 degrees F. at the nearest reporting station. The weatherdudes still don't have a definite forecast for the weekend but say that the computer models are starting to agree. I hope they agree on "no freezing rain" but that might be asking too much.

	Wind chill of 20 BELOW ZERO is expected on Wednesday and maybe into Thursday and Friday. Time to break out the "Windchill from Hell" coats....

	Skywise and the girls just took the trash out to the road and he says we have about ⅛ of an inch of ice on the ground but none on the van or the car. At least not yet. This is better than the � inch the Weatherdudes were telling us to expect. If the radar is any indication, things are nastier farther north.

	At the moment it looks like the predicted "wintery mix" has fizzled out so Skywise shouldn't have any trouble getting home if nothing develops later tonight.

	We're supposed to have snow over the weekend, maybe/probably starting Saturday night and snowing through Sunday. The weatherdudes are saying we could get 5 inches but that isn't nailed down as the computer models aren't quite in alinement yet so we'll see. In any event, it will be more snow than we've seen this season.

	Oh joy, oh bliss! As if freezing our patoots off wasn't enough, now we're gonna get snowed on tomorrow. A system that was going to miss us 24 hours ago is now heading this way. Since it will be moving from the south northward, we'll be getting snow here before Indy does. They're saying around 3 inches here. sigh I'll post a link later after the 11 pm forecast comes out.

	They've "upgraded" us. We're in the 3 to 6 inches band now and the snow is already moving in at Terre Haute and just south of Bloomington. sigh http://www.theindychannel.com/weather/today-s-forecast

Oh http://www.theindychannel.com/weather/today-s-forecast I'm not going to complain, the folks in the Northeast have it a LOT worse but going from "arctic blast"/single digit highs to "potentially" snow and/or freezing rain is adding insult to injury. I REALLY hope that Skywise doesn't have to work on Saturday....

	The good news is that it is going to warm up. The bad news is that they're predicting another 3 inches of snow on Saturday. Between the weather and this bug I've got we may not get the van back until spring. snark

	The Tornado Sirens are going off. Fortunately, I thought to grab the emergency radio and turn it on. It's a test. I forgot that this is "Tornado Preparedness Week" in Indiana. Danger Princess was asleep next to me and she woke up growling. Little girl doesn't like sirens. Plus it's too damned cold for tornadoes this evening.
