This form of marble is a combination of mostly marble,serpentine, nickel and copper. it is only found in Ireland. Due to the copper in it, people might develop an allergic reaction to it. one example are red bruise marks where the stone will rest.

In addition to the connemara.. supposedly this stone is traditionally given between families who vow friendship for a long time. also today it is made into luck stones,worry stones, beads for Rosarys,jewely and one place is selling it as a pint stone. that is a stone that if you rub it , your thirst will go away.
