Peacock ore aka bornite.This Mineral is mined in Mexico. Peacock ore is an old term, because of its characteristic colorful, metallic bronze that rapidly tarnishes into its rainbow of colors (blues, greens, copper, and purples) when exposed

an excellent healing stone. It can help regenerate the body.
Associated with peace, social justice, goodness, fairness, truth and equality. It fosters caring on a worldwide scale, teaching us to be concerned with the welfare of all beings on earth.
among it's various uses it can protect one from negative waves and can find the source of the waves coming at you.also aids in blocks from a percific goal. promotes happiness & cheerfulness.

A cheap stone in general as a lot of childrens rock collection samples will have them. There are however reports of fake peacock ore. this is done by Using electric currents and special acid washes, it can sometimes just be a piece of malachite or silver metal fused with the color. Most of it in the USA is real.
