	Well it has taken ALL afternoon and I've lost count of the number of revisions and false starts but I've managed to -- believably! -- get a piece of information into the ears of the person that needed to hear it. Now all I have to do is decide on the best place to put it. I have it narrowed down to a relatively short timeframe in Chapter 14 so that helps!

	Yay! I'm finished with the "mental instability" for Chapter 14 (more to come but that is Chapter 15) so tomorrow I get to put my "naughty" hat on and start on an Amazon orgy that is epic in scope. I just haven't decided how epic yet but clothes will be shed and Our Hero's older brother is gonna get so lucky it ain't funny! Or maybe it is.... "fun" at least....

	I've written a page and a half so far and I haven't even gotten to the orgy part yet! I need to pick out some character names and I need a name for the rite that they will be performing so that is slowing things down a little bit. I'm thinking that a break is in order since there are a few things that I need to do today besides write since I lack a household support staff to do the dishes, laundry, picking up and such......sigh

	I managed to get a couple of more pages written. hehe Mainly Our Heroine explaining to Our Hero what will be going on at the "Amazonian diplomatic function" which is radically different from any that he's ever heard of and will require a minimum of fifty men in attendance in addition to himself! He wonders if he should "save himself" for the event.

	I've gotten another page and about three quarters written. It's a scene between the heroine's brother and his daughter that sets their relationship on a "healing" course as I decided that hormones notwithstanding the child does have sense enough to realize that maybe, just maybe, her father really does care about her and WOULD have been around if her mother had bothered to tell him he had a child! For his part, "Daddy" is going to have switch gears from being something of a hard-drinking, monster hunting "ladies' man" to a responsible parent.

	I worked on Chapter 15 last night and I'm currently adding new material to 14 'cause there is a dirty, lowdown vampire that needs killing and Our Hero is just the half-vampire to do it. There may be serious loss of clothing during this one, I haven't decided although Our Hero sans clothing brings joy to a woman's heart.... Post # 24,142

	I decided that the vamp that Our Hero is killing is too much of a wimp to muss Our Hero's hair let alone tear the shirt off of his back. Sad, I agree but there is still the orgy to work on and he will be in his full naked glory in that scene so it isn't like anyone is gonna go short of "Hero Hotness." Chapter 14 is approaching fifty pages which is a tad long. Fortunately, the first four or five pages of it can be moved to the end of Chapter 13 without it being noticeable. Chapter 13 is "just" -- as in a few words -- barely 42 pages so the addition of four or five pages won't make IT excessively long. I have to keep reminding myself that this is a first draft and not a final one so I can edit as necessary.

	I haven't done any writing today because I'm still thinking about the riot I have going on in Our Hero's night club. Not sure how it should go so I'm thinking up different ways that it could go and trying them out in my head. So far, nothing has really so I'll probably work on something else tomorrow -- maybe the dance for the bachelor party. BIG surprise there.....

	The orgy is finished. Or finished enough for the first draft. Enough detail to make the reader squirm but not enough to qualify as porn. I'm checking now but I don't think that there is anything else that needs to happen during the period of time that Chapter 14 covers so I'm gonna say that it is FINALLY done.

	The attempted murder in Chapter 15 has been attempted and foiled by Our Hero. The loonie responsible has been confined to a maximum security mental health facility where she will stay until such time as I decide I need her again. The victim has been saved and I've done a little work on Our Hero's bachelor's party. Boy is HE in for a surprise! Nice one though...

	I'm managing to get a little new material added tonight, finger cramps notwithstanding. Still editing on the Bachelor Party and saving what I can from it. Unfortunately, there were some voyeurs posting on the original thread that set a tone that isn't entirely appropriate in the new context. I "may" end up scrapping everything except some of one person's dialog and working it up from scratch.

	I got a little more done on Our Hero's bachelor party tonight. The scene is set anyway and the man is where he's supposed to be. I spent some time today with some of my instructional belly dance dvds for research purposes. I'm not gonna write out a whole choreography but I would like to give the readers something for their imaginations to work with.... Post # 24,234

	I'm managing to get some work done on the Bachelor Party section tonight. I still need to do some research but I think I'll wait until tomorrow or Monday to do that. Still. Chapter 15 "should" be in good enough shape to be called "first draft finished" by the end of next week. Maybe by the middle. Then I can concentrate on the ton of new material I need for the last chapter.

	I've gotten the bachelor party in good enough shape for a first draft. The dance can probably be improved but it needs to sit there for a while before I can see how. All that is left is the attempted murder and what motivates it and Chapter 15 "should" be done. Hope so anyway.

	It looks like that with some judicious editing and general tightening of the prose, Chapters 15 and 16 can be combined without being overly long. This is good thing because otherwise, Chapter 16 was either going to be very short or terribly padded. So I currently have them combined and I'm working on everything except the handfasting and what comes immediately afterward. That part will be done last.

	I've managed to add a bit more to the handfasting scene and tightened up the prose in a few other places so it's slow but it is coming. I think I have an idea of what to do in another section so I'm going to work on that while the yeast proofs.

	I'm think of borrowing an old Spartan custom for the handfasting and have Our Heroine and Our Hero go three or five rounds in the dueling cage to prove to that he's fit to mate with an Amazon Queen. The Spartans had the bride and groom wrestle naked but I'm pretty sure I'll let Our Hero retain his modesty (such as it is) in this particular scene.....

	I've just explained why Our Hero has to go three rounds in the dueling cage with Our Heroine. Writing the encounter will take longer since I have to brush up on my MMA and Krav Maga.....

	The ONLY good thing about the modem being dead is that the first draft of Book 3 will be wrapped up today. I finished the handfasting last night and I'm pretty pleased with it. All that is left is an epilogue to rough in and it will be done. In fact, I started the word doc for Book 3 in Pages last night. The first thing I have to do is, of course, go through and work on correcting the formatting errors.
