a minerial was first found in greenland in 1819. but was also found in parts of Russia,Canada,Norway, and Arkansas,USA.

the name means in Greek "well decomposable". it's color is red,magenta,brown and some samples of blue and yellow have been found.

this stone helps with the root and heart chakras. also this stone helps to trust yourself and others.
also supposedly helps with clairauidience and psychic protection. also supposed to give matters to the heart and remove jealously. eases complusive behavior. also dispels any negative emotion which will prevent the person from giving love, such as guilt,anger,hate,depression,etc.

fairly expensive as small pieces range in $40USD a piece and spheres are known to be $180 USD. polished pieces sort of remind me of red sugilite.
