ok there is a new fake stone going around by the name of blood quartz. It is actually just colored red glass. usually it's bright red. Some sites will site up it is good for aid in LHP, ceremonial magic,evoking the dead,etc.

now there are red quartz that are filled or partially filled with hematite. now these stones are real.

then you have a red aura quartz which is manmade and is made up of gold,silver and platinum. sometimes it goes by ruby aura quartz and is usually reddish pink to a hot pink coloring. last i checked theystopped makin it

And some hematite quartz is labeled as blood quartz as well.
just remember if it's a bright red ,like on a cardinal bird. it's a fake, if it a darker red that looks like blood in color. it's real.
