I seriously need to stop turning on the computer as soon as I wake up. I was woke up by my stomach complaining about lack of food (and subsequently making me dream of being in a restaurant and our food was never brought).

It's an hour and a half later, I still haven't ate anything and was wondering why I felt a little light headed  Roll Eyes

The broken down dresser is finally gone. My arms are sore and I'm hot as hell but glad to have it out of the living room. Damn that thing was heavy, even broke down into pieces.

Would have been done yesterday but had to wait for the garbage guys to empty the dumpster.

Now to get something to drink and a snack, if there is one around.

I hit the sheets at just after 3 am (again) but it was worth it. Yesterday's glitch in the software got fixed, OE's old VE account was restored -- she has two accounts at the moment but D is gonna fix that -- and we should be running smoothly right up until the upgrade to 2.5 after which the site will have a shiny new look with new template/skins and I'll have to see what all else.
So all I need now is some tea and breakfast...

Yes you can and he's going to merge your two accounts too. He would have done it last night but by the time he'd tracked down the problem with the Adult/Dark Magick forums, it was nearly 3 am and he was getting crosseyed! So combining your accounts is on his "To Do" list along with the upgrade.

We're going to head into town right now, should be gone for a couple of hours. When we get back I'll get everyone into the Adult Forums that wants access and get started on what we "non-techiegeeks" can do to be ready for the upgrade!   Smiley Smiley

I think there is a wasp's nest in the outside wall of the bathroom... I found a wasp in there earlier and Hubby thinks he hears a droning noise inside the wall. He's going up to get some wasp killer and some dry cat food in a few minutes. Hopefully we won't see any more hornets or wasps in the bathroom after today!!  Smiley

More "bug" excitement... Noelle was on the living room windowsill and took off all of a sudden... There was a HUGE bumblebee on the INSIDE of the screen!!  Smiley I managed to kill it and not get stung, thank the gods!!

I know it. Worst of it is, we don't know if Hubby or the little guy is allergic to wasp/bee/hornet stings, neither one has been stung. I have but it's been years, so all three of us could be allergic for all we know... Roll Eyes

To let everyone know, we've been busy down in the staff area. We have a BUNCH of ready made template/skins picked out and plans for several "custom" designs unique to us!  VE is downloading GIMP as we speak and her head is bursting with ideas. I've sent her some "text" samples and a couple of photographs. I have another I'm going to send her once I track it down. We're going to try to have something for every taste so the selection "should" be quite large by the time we're finished. If Life/Work doesn't throw D anymore curve balls, (YOU LISTENIN' TO ME, UNI?!) we should be upgraded by this time next month.

BURSTING is right!! This is the kind of tech work I dream about... Designing banners, skins, that kind of thing. I'm good with computers and can do some tech work myself (hey, I did rebuild my stupid computer by myself with NO help from anyone else and I'm always tinkering with the darn thing!!) but I'd rather design stuff like the new banners we'll have in the 2.5 upgrade!! Penth sent me two gorgeous pics already and I'm already envisioning what the one will look like with the right color and type of font, and I don't even have the banner done yet!!  Smiley

After I see what GIMP has for fonts, I may sneak off and go download some for it so I have ALL of the fonts Penth would like to see used on the banners... That will NOT take me as long as getting GIMP, that program looks HUGE!! The installer alone is over 19 MB and I have DIAL UP internet, so this is going to take me a while!!!  Smiley

I have a beautiful pic that Moonie took of an ice covered tree against a bright blue winter sky that would make a beautiful "seasonal" banner or template/skin. I just have to find it among the over 5,000 pics the Firstborn has taken since we got our first digital camera! Smiley

Penth, that sounds beautiful!! *brain starts thinking of the perfect font and color of font for it* Dark blue with maybe... Either Times New Roman or Calligraphy???

Not hard to tell the idea center of my brain is going OVERTIME!!  Smiley

Sita, I agree, MS Paint is NOT great... I use photo editor (MS Office) for shrinking and cropping pics but have always used Lunapic for banners until now... Hopefully I'll be able to get GIMP today and start working on the banners after I download more pics!! I kinda put that on the back burner so I'd have GIMP for when I need it!! Tongue

I've already shown Penth one of the pics I've downloaded and it's looking like that one is a go for using as a banner!!  Smiley
