	Morning. There are still a few little pockets of rain around but the worst is over and the sun is trying to come out. We ran into town to get an early lunch, do a little of our payday shopping (since we won't have the van tomorrow -- still in the shop) and PAY THE ELECTRIC BILLS which are due tomorrow.

	Afternoon!! Hubby and I spent the morning straightening things up around here a little bit and getting ideas for our son's birthday... The little guy will be 7 on Sunday and we're planning a little something for him either here or at his paternal grandmother's house. Today, he will be celebrating his birthday with his class mates and his name will be mentioned in the announcements on the "Birthday list". I hope he has a wonderful day at school and enjoys it!! Hubby is now in town and I'm enjoying some peace and quiet before the school bus arrives in two hours. I barely slept last night and the peace and quiet is just what I need... I do hear a lot of birds chirping, my windows are open, but that's the only sound I'm hearing besides the keys clicking on the keyboard as I type this. Pure bliss!!

	Apparently the FCAT scores are in and the boy didn't pass. School called to let us know he got a 1 on the reading part (at least a 2 is needed) and that they recommend summer school to try and get him to 4th grade. Didn't mention the math, but since he's better in reading than math... He'll be sent home with the paperwork today and we'll be discussing it this weekend.

	Sita! We just got home. We gassed up the car, cashed the check, got a few things at Wal-Mart, had lunch, got more things at the grocery, picked up the van (it was finally ready!) to the tune of $1,600+ (engine work is expensive!), came home, unloaded the car and found the receipt for my glasses which we will pick up tomorrow. AGAIN! I am now going to sit here quietly and write checks and answer PMs....
