	I don't mind storms, I actually love them. But when the cat starts doing this panicky sort of thing, and behaving in a manner that is totally not normal for her, it causes a bit of worry!

	to Aranarose and her kitty! I have eaten and should be human again shortly! Skywise works tomorrow (somebody has to get all that mail ready for delivery on Tuesday!) and I'm thinking about what I need to be doing. Since my "online" responsibilities have been cut in half, I'm going to have a good sized increase in my "free time." The first order of business is to take care of some household matters that I've let side as a result of those now terminated online responsibilities. Once those are out of the way, I'll be pulling out Book 3 and getting myself back into "serious writing harness." And there is still the matter of signing with an agent. Maybe I'll have better luck NOW than I was having before. We'll see... Tonight though, I'm gonna hang out here, watch the rest of the race and finish this re-root!

	Me thinks I've done myself a mischief. Trying to be all manly strong & getting an AC unit in a window that weighs the same as me. I got it in the window but oh do I feel every biy my age. Got one more AC unit to get in, at least it's lighter. Oh how I wish I had central air but I gots base board heat so no heat ducts. My poor aching back...

	Hello!! I'm in for a bit, just long enough to catch up on spots and check my SP Pets. The Bachelorette is on again tonight, so I'll be vegging in front of the TV later this evening. I also had a meeting with my son's teachers and principal today... It's looking like he'll be going into first grade next year!! We're not sure who his teacher will be, BUT we do know for sure he WILL have a full time PSA so I am VERY relieved!! We're also going to see about getting him into one or two day camps this summer and possibly soccer camp, IF he wants to go to them that is. Next school year should be interesting. Okay, time to get the desk fan on HIGH and see if I can prevent myself from melting in this !@#$%^& high humidity!!

	We gave up yesterday and turned on the A/C. I haven't looked to see what the humidity is and I'm not sure that I want to know!

	I'm not sure what it is here either, but it's pretty darn high. The fact that we had a TON of thundershowers this morning (with lots of heavy rain) and the sun coming out didn't help either. Hubby put the AC in the bedroom the other day and I am VERY grateful for it... I cannot sleep at all in weather like this and the humidity makes me physically ill if I'm not careful. Our bedroom holds the heat, we really don't have an attic and there is no way to get a good cross breeze through the windows upstairs at all, so it's either fans or an AC unit. Fans don't work very well when it's ultra humid!!

	Yeah! �That's great news Veridian Etoile! �(about your son and school.. man I am a slow typer ) There's lots of rain here but it's cold so the humidity here is quite low. �Unfortunately I haven't been able to get any more garden in here because of the rain. � My Mom called and told me Dr. Hook will be playing in Gilbert Plains, MB during the summer fair. �I think my bloke and I are going. �He was so surprised... first thing he said was "Blimey, are they still alive?" �Lols! edited cause I am in slo-mo today!

	Thanks Ravens Tears!! I'm pretty fast at typing, I get upwards of 100 words per minute when I'm on a roll. I learned to type when I was 16 years old, on a typewriter yet!!

	I got faster after I got into my business course... We had to use Mavis Beacon Teaches Typing a few times a day and that program is STRICT!! I was up over 70 wpm by the time we all graduated... Then I only got faster over time after getting my own computers at home.

	I learned on those huge old manual typewriters that had the massive carriages on them. They were antiques! All steel. My main problem is I took computer programming before I took typing and always watched my keyboard because one mistake and you would be searching forever to find the reason the program wouldn't run. The oldest habits are the hardest to break!

	I'm lucky if I can get about 15 wpm on one of those old manual typewriters... I'm so used to having the keys work with a lot less pressure!! I learned on an IBM style that came out in the late 70s and then had a Smith Corona one at home... I swear the old type writer is what gave me the carpal tunnel syndrome because my hands were bothering me LONG before I started using computers all of the time.
