	I'm getting ready to dip my head in ridiculous amounts of red hair dye so naturally, there is a Severe Thunderstorm Watch out for the northern half of the state! Fortunately the southern border of the watch area is the northern border of this county. I hope that the storms have read the warning and know that they are NOT supposed to cross into this county!

	I haven't dyed my hair in years, though I keep threatening to dye it hot pink with neon green stripes. Because no one will let me shave it again.

	I dye mine because a.) I like being a redhead, b.) Skywise likes me being a redhead and c.) I flatly REFUSE to let my hair go white until I have a face full of wrinkles to go with it, which -- Thanks be to All the Immortal Gods! -- I do not yet have! 	I've got another two or three months before I can dye my hair again. The last color was not what I wanted (too brown) but it tends to stay about 4 months. It's a blessing and a curse how well my hair holds on to treatments.

	My problem is that my hair grows so darn fast! In three weeks, my roots will be noticeable and in six weeks, it will be damned embarrassing and Spirit will be pestering me to dye my hair!

	my hair grows fast too. I'm a dirty blonde and dye it auburn. Been told that when my hair grows out it looks like I have highlights

We had a brief storm, which cooled it off a bit, but I'm still dying right now. My room, which is also where I do all my work, is upstairs, so it's kind of on the miserable side of things, even with the central air on, because the duct to my room is fracked up. Of course.

	Today is the last day of school for the boy, hope he enjoys the last day being with his friends. Unless he comes back home with something that says otherwise he's not going to summer school and will repeat
