Hi everyone!!

We're home finally and POOPED!!

Today was my son's class field trip and we went to the Fisheries Museum of the Atlantic in Lunenburg. There were LOTS of activities to do... First we learned about our sailing ambassador, the Bluenose and Bluenose II, learned a lot about whales, watched a miniature version of a ship being launched, learned about lobsters and chased a lot of children between the ages of 5 and 7 around the aquarium part of the museum!! After that, we walked up a VERY steep hill (Lunenburg is known for its narrow streets, one way streets and steep hills!) to the Memorial Park where everyone had lunch in the sunshine and after that, the children played in the playground until the bus came to take them back to the school.

We had driven our little guy to the museum so he came home with us in the car.

It was a great day... Tiring but boy was it fun!!  Smiley

I should not be allowed to go to the store on my own. I've already spent my allotted 10 dollars this month. On chocolate.

Granted half of it is for the boy, but still /sigh

@#$% leak from upstairs into son's bedroom closet.
which was being used as storage space in addition to clothes.

Half a dozen cardboard boxes, one sleeping bag and all clothes hanging are soaked. Not to mention the floor.

All I can do is hope that stuff inside the boxes didn't get ruined. Like the 8-tracks. Or the baby memories.

Hi everyone!!

It's a windy and cloudy day here... My husband went to a flea market so it's just the little guy and I home right now. He's playing games on the NES while I'm doing the usual... My online work!! Oh, and don't forget the housework too...*GAGS*

It's a definite: The dog IS in cahoots with the cats now. He's tripping me up, scaring the dickens out of me and just being goofy all of the time now. It's amazing how animals will work together for a common cause... To drive Veridian bonkers!!

Time for another mug of coffee and go visit my SP Pets in another tab... I'm around if anyone has any questions or needs some help. Cheesy

Waiting for him to get home.  He crashed at a friends house last night.  Before he left to go out with friends, he was worried I'd be mad at him.  Apparently, his ex was one of those, "You can't ever do anything or have any friends, because all you need is me," types of people, and I'm just not like that.  He's going to have to get used to the fact that I've been single for four years, and might has well have been single for the last five years of my marriage before that.  I'm used to spending time alone, so I'm not going to freak out if he wants to go hang with his boys LMAO

Not to mention he's 20.  Of course he's going to want to do those things a 20-year-old does, like get stupid with his friends.  I'm his girlfriend, not his mom, and he's an adult.  He makes choices, and he's accountable for those choices, but as long as those choices don't directly hurt me or my kid, I'm good.

Besides, all his friends love me to death too, and I think they'd kick his ass if he did anything stupid that would hurt or upset me  Grin

We have a VERY ticked off furball here... Noelle went to go up on top of the computer tower and got one heck of a surprise... Amber was already there. Thank the stars there wasn't TOO much fur flying!!

We're back from the city. We picked up what we need to put two more  shelves in the pantry which should help a lot in getting things sorted out.
It's HOT as in 90 degrees at the nearest reporting station. Wasn't it just three weeks ago that we had the furnace on....
