	Morning! The sun is out, rain has cleared and we're still afloat here in my area. Most places in SW NS got over 90 mm of rain (3 1/2 inches!!) and Halifax got over 110 mm (over FOUR inches!) so it's going to be a while before we finally dry out here. Basically what happened was that the system that hit New England a couple of days ago mixed in with another system that had tropical properties to it and we got CLOBBERED. We didn't lose power, thank the gods, but it was pretty darn gnarly there for a while! Hubby works the evening shift tonight. Tomorrow, I will be attending my godmother's funeral so I won't be around in the morning. I have to find some proper clothes... Jeans and t-shirts are generally NOT acceptable attire for a funeral, especially in the Anglican church!! I know where one pair of formal boots are, and a good skirt and blouse... I have to find a pair of pantyhose without a ton of runs in them. Hopefully I have a pair, else I'm going to wind up wearing jeans which will result in my mother taking a fit and me being strung up by the ears and shot......... Anyway, I'm going to check my SP Pets quickly, get another cup of coffee in me and get caught up before Hubby has his pre-work nap... I'll be trying to write during that time. I'm around and keeping the eyes peeled for SPAMMERS... Which I love to clobber as y'all know.......

	I was just talking to my sister on my cell phone.... Apparently things are a little more casual at the church then they were while I was growing up. I do NOT have to wear a skirt, a pair of nice jeans will be fine!! Thank the stars cause I wasn't sure if I had a good pair of panty hose or not... So I can wear my black jeans with a nice blouse and my boots. WHEW.... One less thing to worry about. My aunt is going to visit with my nieces while we're at the funeral so Sissy won't have to expose either of them to this... Hubby will be watching Son at home so I won't have to take him along... Thank the stars for small mercies. It'll be good to see everyone but I just wish it was under better circumstances... SIGHS

	VE! Morning! I'm better today, I got through the night without coughing. Of course, the Daughters of Chaos made it "interesting" after lights out last night. At 4:15 am I had to get up and stagger in here because they had managed to turn this computer on [I had it in 'sleep mode'.]! I shut it down and went back to bed before they managed to get onto Amazon and my well-used account... Unless something has changed that I don't know about, we'll be heading out shortly. Catch ya later.

	Thanks Penth. I'll be around but idle for a bit, I'm going to try to do some work on Untitled #7 now that Hubby has finally turned off that !@#$%^&!@#$^&!@#$%&*!@#%^& TV. If I suddenly really get into things I'll go offline so I'm not as distracted.

	We're back and I've spent the last 20 minutes rearranging the desktop. It seems that "someone" (probably small, frisky and with tiny paws and tail) found the "right" button to "tidy up" the items on the desktop, the result being that I couldn't FIND ANYTHING! sigh It is good thing those little hairballs are beyond cute.....

	This one's bad but I cracked up when I saw it... I've noticed a lot of my friends are sharing the funny cat and other animals pics lately... And I am NOT complaining, this is freaking great how everyone is trying to give their buds a good laugh!! Nothing like a cute and funny animal pic to make a person smile....
