A friend of mine in FB just told me something silly that their cat did...

Their cat is almost as goofy as mine are I swear!!!  Smiley

My grownup kitties are being a bunch of crankypants today. It being Samhain/Halloween and the fact that two of them are black cats, they are not permitted outside today. I was hoping for a rainy, miserable day so they wouldn't WANT to go out but it's beautiful outside and they do NOT understand why Skywise isn't taking them out. Consequently, they are yowling and picking fights with each other and one of them thoroughly soaked one of Skywise's shirts.....

Ours are not black but I wouldn't let them out for all the money in the world today, even if we did let them outside...

Fabric refresher works to get those "wet messes" out... I go through a LOT of that stuff here with the dog being older... Roll Eyes

They had Halloween activities at school and all of the kids are hyper from a LOT of candy... Trick or treating won't start for a few more hours and the kids are going wonky NOW....  Smiley

The local district won't dismiss for about another 90 minutes and it will be 4 pm or later before all the kids are home -- the bus passes here at 4 pm.  I'm not expecting any trick or treaters but I have some goodies on hand, just in case....

I don't use Skype either... That is odd, it smells "skunkish"....

I just got off the phone with Hubby and he'll be home in about 2 hours... The instant he gets in the door, he'll be setting up the extra things for outside (the fake candle we set up on top of the large compost holder for the municipal government) and he'll be putting the blue bag of soda bottles Son and I just filled up into the shed for recycling.

School for the elementary students gets out around 2 p.m here... Junior high gets out around 2:45 and the high school is out around 3:30... Or it was when I was attending the Jr. High and Senior high for this area!! LOL

I'm slowly getting finished the cleaning... I just have to do the corner by the kitchen table, sweep, mop and give that outside door a quick wipe down with a wet cloth... I cleaned the darn thing the other day but between that darn dog and those wacked out cats, it's a little dirty again.... Roll Eyes

I laugh at those.  I do have a PayPal account, but have dealt with them for years and years.  I hate them, but one of my contracts pays only by PayPal and they pay me a LOT, so I deal.

But one thing about PayPal is that they do not request information in an email.  They may tell you to login to your account and update information, but they also tell you to be careful about the links that you're using to login to PayPal.

I resisted my urge to stay inside and let the boy go trick or treating with his friends.

It was just here at the complex but he got a TON of candy. Not many were home....and I'm glad for that. His pumpkin bucket was filled to the top as it was Smiley

Mmm... Cupcakes!! I'll be diving into any leftover candy after we shut things down for the night. Hubby and Son have gone trick or treating to my MIL's house right now.

Son and I did the circle around the neighborhood... We have 10 houses here in close proximity and we're the second to last one on the northern end of it... Two houses were not home so we only went to the remaining seven, on FOOT. Son made out like a bandit already and he's NOT DONE YET!!! I imagine his grandmother will have a TONNE of stuff for him, she always makes up a HUGE goodie bag for him every year!! LOL

So far we've had 10 trick or treaters and we wil probably have more. The neighbor's granddaughter was here already, as were several of Son's classmates... And boy was Son ever happy to see them, and they were excited to see him too! Son walked all that way earlier and he's STILL going 10000 miles an hour, he is VERY excited about getting goodies this year!!

Me, I'm DEAD...

Anyway, I'm here cause I forgot to check my SPPets earlier, I was too darn busy cleaning and keeping an eye out for idiot spammers!!

Anyone see my brain??? I think I left it down by the creek....  Smiley  Smiley

The validation email just tripped up a spammer and I put it out of its misery. Mainly because I didn't want to look at the big yellow "ALERT!" notice at the top of my screen!
The cats have settled down a bit but I know that if they don't get some outside time tomorrow, we hoomanz will be DOOMED!!

It wouldn't surprise me if they did. It also wouldn't surprise me if she heard them...
