My husband would LOVE his own observatory... Problem is he may not get to use it much alone cause I'd be out there a lot too... Cheesy Our problem is that we don't have a lot of land and it's an oddly shaped lot... It's like a triangle with two curved sides, wide along the road and narrowing back toward the lake in the southwest at an odd angle...........

I generally try to sneak in a hockey book for Hubby or something I know he'll like but won't buy for himself. He doesn't like to spend money on himself, he'd rather spend it all on Son and myself. Cheesy

they have this serious of bathroom joke books that are like 300 pages of jokes or something we bought him one for fathers day he had it done in like a month so we bought him two more in the series

ugh wish me and the roomie luck i hate to sound mean or snooty but our friends who found out they have bed bugs in their apartment are coming to visit us, hopefully we can avoid hugging and keep them in the lobby cuz i really really do not want bed bugs int he dorm room

oh thank goodness they hugged my roomie but not me, and they didnt come in the room and they were only here for like half an hour so hopefully the lobby and our dorm is safe --_--

Hi everyone! I'm around for a while today... I'll be cleaning the living room in between things, Hubby is DETERMINED he is going to get that !@#$%^&*( tree up tonight come heck or high water. I was hoping it wouldn't happen for another week but I'll just have to endure it being up this early I guess. I'm just hoping Miss Noelle doesn't climb it this year but knowing that little cat, she probably will no matter what precautions we take to prevent her from doing so. Roll Eyes I just hope she doesn't hurt herself if she does climb it!

Have decided to go full-force and start doing readings again.  I know I'm good, and I know there's a market for it.  Just have to ball up and do it.

I'm still here, just haven't felt like saying much that's all. Tongue

We're having spaghetti for supper and I have the sauce simmering away on the stove. Now I'm just waiting for Hubby to get home from his 5 hour shift at work, then I'll probably put the pot of water on to actually cook the pasta itself.

Amber is snoozing on the one chair in the kitchen and I think Noelle is on the bathroom windowsill, snoring away. I'm expecting furry zaniness later. Roll Eyes

I'm here. Finally.
It was decided this morning, suddenly and with no warning, that we were going to the Children's Museum today. I had time to throw on my clothes and that was it -- not even time for breakfast.
I'm exhausted, my knees are complaining (the floors at the museum are extraordinarily unforgiving), my ears hurt (hundreds of screaming kids) and I STILL have everything on Today's To Do List to do.
It ain't all gonna get done.
At least Skywise and the girls had fun.

I was just rubbing my left knee. "Something" moved under my hands, popped and now it hurts less.

Maybe you have a bone out of place? I have that happen all of the time in my left wrist. It goes out of whack, I pop it back in and a little while later, it's fine. It grosses me out to do that but if it works, I WILL ENDURE without gagging!!!

It was my knee cap or something very close to it that moved/popped. I haven't tried to walk since I did it so we'll see. I'm going to have to get up in a minute and head for the Guest House if one of the things on my "To Do" list is going to get done.

one of the ligaments holding your kneecap in place may have gotten wrapped around one of the condyles of your femur or tibia and gotten stuck. that would cause pain and lack of mobility but moving it around may have gotten it loose and back into place
