	Morning. I'm currently on dial up. The snow has stopped but apparently there are enough ice crystals in the upper atmosphere to mess up the satellite reception. I have a feeling I'll be getting Book One proofed today. I'll be back when I have the satellite or when I can chase the kids off this computer.

	I'm plowing through Chapter 13 and I'm finding a lot of places where the prose can be tightened up which, of course, I'm doing. I have 62 pages to go and I should get through them today if the eyes hold out.

	Oh I've been there myself. Before you can decide something like an area's climate or topography, you have to know how "weather" works. I have a "weird" situation on my planet in that I have several mountain ranges that run "north/south" and one that runs "east/west" that intersects with one of the "north/west" ranges at a 90 degree angle. Fortunately, I found a way to explain it!

I'll do the research over the next couple of days before my next writing marathon, while Son is in school and Hubby is home. 	<--- That about sums it up. I've gotten through Book 1, changed it from single space to double space and back again and have found and fixed the formatting errors caused by the change, losing two or three pages in the process of tightening up the prose. Tomorrow, I'll start going through it again looking for any formatting errors I missed. By Friday, eyes and brain should be fried but I "should" be done. At which point, I'm going to politely inquire at the agency I queried back in November that claims a 3 to 4 week response time as to why I have not heard back from them. The response I get will determine if I will be heading to the post office some morning soon with a VERY heavy box of manuscript.....

	Morning everyone! I'm here and not awake yet, I stayed up late to watch the Best in Show part of the Westminster Dog show last night... The winner was a Pekingese named Malachai, who is adorable! I admit being a fan of the larger breeds (I was rooting for the Doberman, the German Shepherd or the Irish Setter) but this little guy was a cutie pie and yeah I think he did deserve the title of Best in Show. I'm planning on doing research for the manuscript today, after I get caught up that is... And if I don't wind up taking a nap so I'm somewhat awake for CSI later tonight! I'm around for a couple of hours anyway... Time to start getting things put into Son's bookbag and get my boots on for the trek to the bus stop.......

	Morning! We're back from town. I did pick up the extra paper so I'm good to go with printing when I'm ready. It may seem "old fashioned" but I'm looking forward to reading my book in hard copy, even if it is still in manuscript form.
