Afternoon! We're back too. Cheesy

We went to Mahone Bay and around the Lunenburg/Blue Rocks area and I got a TON of pics!!!  Smiley Smiley I still have to take out the camera card, shrink the pics (so they don't take forever to upload on dial up) for uploading to FB, and study them in detail to add into the story!

We also ran a few errands... Translation: Got groceries!! I've got a lot of the prep done for supper already too, all I have to do is shred the cheese and we'll be ready to go. I'm making tacos... Well, tacos for Hubby, taco salad for me. Tongue

I'm around for a few hours... Now to get caught up again!! LOL

Skywise is out the door and now "I" will get caught up again. I made an impulse buy today -- 9 yards (maybe a bit more) of green chiffon. I've been looking for this particular shade of green for a while now and figured this time of year would be my best chance. The color is what I call "Kelly" which normally shows up around St. Patrick's Day.  It will go beautifully with a metallic gold bra and belt set.  I got all that they had and it was in two pieces, one fairly large and a smaller piece. I'll probably use the small piece either as the front panel or part of the back panel of the skirt with a single 3 yard section for the veil. Now all I need is 9 yards each of silver/silver gray chiffon and blood red chiffon and I'll have my basic costume wardrobe. Or I will once I have the costumes made!

Oh, I LOVE a dark green with a gold, Penth!! One of the prettiest color combinations in my mind... Next to black and silver that is!! Cheesy

I'm ready for morning and it's just after 6 p.m. here. SCARY!! Shocked (normally I'm not ready for a school morning before 9 p.m. the night before!!)

The best of the pics I took today are now uploaded into an album in my main FB account... It felt like it took forever even though I had shrunk the blasted things!!  Smiley

ETA: I'm sticking around until Hubby takes Son to bed... He's watching some  Smiley stuff on the history channel that does NOT interest me whatsoever!!  Smiley

I am having a "heck" of a time staying connected!  The satellite keeps going out. I told Skywise about it and he's going to do some checking when he gets home. I'm beginning to suspect that the unusual activity on the sun has something to do with it....

I may kill my internet service provider. We are beginning to suspect that my problems with staying connected may be due to the providers' traffic exceeding their satellite capacity which would explain why I keep getting kicked off.

Back... Had a nap and when I got up, Hubby said he was expecting a couple of phone calls so I had to stay offline until he heard from both parties. He did and I'm able to be on again.. I'll be around for a couple of hours at least!! Cheesy

I'm tempted, VE, believe me! 

The Queen was quite happy to see me on the bed with my eyes closed and she took serious advantage of me! On the plus side, my eyes are well rested and I can see properly.

Amber took full advantage of me when she saw me buried under my zillion blankets this morning... When I woke up, she was cuddled up against my side, purring like crazy, and Noelle was curled up on Son's bed, snoring away. I was double teamed by furbabies!!! Smiley

I hate it that by the time the satellite cooperates, I've forgotten what I was going to post.

I can't get signed into IM either and both the computer and the IM are informing me of that at the top of their lungs.

Greetings!  Smiley  I'm back....   Smiley

Once again RL has waylaid me on my way to the forums....  Not half as productively as I'd like but the weather here for the past few days (except today) was gorgeous and spring - like.  Also got some more knitting done.  Have also been spending alot of time talking to a friend who's fiance is having a major emotional affair with a "lady" on Twitter.  I soooo want to go yell at him and stuff because she won't but I can't...  very frustrating Angry .  Hate seeing a friend hurt and walked all over. 

Did get to spend time with my Dad n my bro today.  Had a nice lunch and visited a few second-hand stores. Other than that, things have been pretty quiet around here.  Looks like y'all have been putting in some serious work!  I feel lazy now!  Embarrassed
