	The unpainted parts of the mirror frame are primed. The three pieces of trim that are ready to go are glued and clamped onto their bases. The fourth piece of trim has been primed and the first coat (of four) of paint is on it. I don't know if I can stay awake long enough to put the second coat on it tonight or not but I will try. Or I'll cheat a bit... I'm aiming for having it finished and ready to move into the basement by Tuesday. The trim needs touching up but I can -- and will -- do that after it is downstairs.

	Eyes crossed. Brain fried. Trim painted... So I WILL finish painting it and get it mounted on its backing tomorrow. Which means that I'm on track to be ready to move the mirror frame on Tuesday. I'll need to clear MAXIMUM space around the stairs, top and bottom, and in my practice/workout area so there won't be a problem in getting it into place. I want to put a decorative plaque at the top of it but I haven't made it yet. Fortunately, it is something I can add after it is finished and in the basement. Right now, however, I'm an tired little writerperson and cognitive functions are shutting down so I'm gonna head for my bed while I can still find it. Everyone sleep well and be safe.

	Afternoon. I saw those, VE and I'll be getting to them later. Right now, I gotta get my little butt in gear. The wardrobe will be delivered on Tuesday so I have to make room for it. It will be left in the yard so we're gonna be cracking the box open and hauling the pieces to either the Guest House or the basement and I need to be ready! Specifically, that means the mirror frame has to be finished, off the saw horses and downstairs before Tuesday morning so the wardrobe pieces I'm going to paint can go up there. It also means that I need to get the makeup table -- which needs to be taken apart and reconfigured -- needs to be gotten out of the way. Right now, I'm planning on putting the makeup table aside in favor of getting the wardrobe assembled and then, finishing the makeup table. I'm gonna be a busy girl this weekend with that stuff to do along with the "usual" stuff and our "date" with The Avengers tomorrow morning. I think I'd better get my tea and donut and then get busy! I got a lot to do! And VE, I sent you an email last night. Did you get it?

	Okay. I'm going to be in and out of here today. Paint takes a while to dry and glue needs to set up before it can be painted. And I'll have to come out of the basement periodically to do stuff up here. I'll change into my "get filthy and paint spattered" clothes while I await your reply to the email.

	I did and I replied -- which you probably won't read until tomorrow! hehehe I've got a half an hour to wait before I need to be back up at the Guest House and I "should" be back down here for the rest of the day about 30 to 45 minutes after that. THEN I get to start on rearranging things in the basement so I have room for the mirror when we move it down there. Also need to make considerable room to assemble the wardrobe once the pieces that I'm going to paint are dry. I'm going to do the top, sides and the piece that goes across the bottom first since, according to the package, the paint I'll be using takes three days to cure and the doors will go on last anyway. Once it is in place I will FINALLY have a safe place to put my costumes and the other dance gear I'm accumulating. I broke down and ordered three books on dance costume design and construction by one of the "go to" authorities on those subjects in the belly dance community. I have a feeling that once I'm done fixing up my dance/exercise area, my sewing/crafts area had better be next on my " get organized" list.

	Everything that could be painted has been painted. Everything that could be glued has been glued. Tomorrow I'll do more gluing and painting and I "should" be ready to mount the mirror on it come Monday. I've cleared the space where it is going to go in the basement but I still need to move/arrange stuff but I can work on that after the mirror and frame are in the basement and before the wardrobe is delivered on Tuesday. Yeah, I'm anxious to get it and get it put together. I want my dance stuff out of storage boxes and bins and hung up/put in a closet like it is supposed to be!

	We've decided to go to the 9:45 am showing of The Avengers. That will give us plenty of time afterward to grab some lunch, maybe make a stop or two and then come home and "do stuff" like work on mirror frames.

	Morning. Penth, you're right... I'm going to get the email in a couple of minutes. Hubby is at a flea market, Son is playing on his game console and I'm going to be here while doing housework, etc. And before I forget... Happy Mother's Day to all of the Moms out there!!! 	I've been hugging on her for the last hour or so. The gluing and painting took about an hour -- like I figured -- then Moonie started telling me the specifics of the problem. Basically, the little female mongrel that I have ranted about previously decided last night [after everyone else had gone to bed] that Moonie is an elitist, chronic liar and no longer good enough to hang with but not before laying enough guilt on my girl to break an elephant's back. So I've been assuring Moonie that she doesn't qualify as an elitist -- she was asked for her "artist's opinion", she gave it and it wasn't well received. Her suggestions about some stories that this girl had written which were also constructive were also not appreciated and just because this little can't handle constructive input doesn't make Moonie any sort of elitist snob. If Moonie has a problem it is that she is so concerned with not hurting someone else's feelings she allows her own to be hurt. Repeatedly. My girl is better off and she is beginning to see that.
