That's it for me... I'm worn out and Son is wanting to play rocket bowl... So I'm going to hand the computer over to him and go veg in front of the TV with my cat.

Tomorrow, I'll be offline part of the day while I do outlines, etc for #7... I may even try to get a page or two written up. Tongue

I am cross!
We went to town, got lunch and went to Walmart. I got the rest of the things that I needed and headed for the paint department and naturally, they are out of the paint I need to paint the wardrobe.  Smiley The local Walmart is not known for prompt restocking of items that aren't in high demand so I really have NO clue when I am going to get my hands on that paint. Soooooooo.... tomorrow the wardrobe will be delivered, divided up as previously decided and set aside until I can get the paint. *snark* I'll probably continue work on the makeup table while I'm waiting. I've completely disassembled the thing since I discovered that one of the supporting units is fractionally shorter than the other -- just enough to screw everything up. So I'm going to "Plan B" which will get around that problem but requires me to take the whole thing apart. Fortunately, I designed it to be taken apart so it isn't as traumatic as it might be otherwise. Anyway, I'll just keep working on it until it's finished or I can paint the wardrobe and put it together. *sigh*

Good news! The mirror stand is not only finished but moved into the basement! My Dad hauled the heavy stand all the way to our house from the Guest house all by himself! We managed to get the stand to where it was supposed to be without problems. He then got the mirror and Mom had put it in! The resulting mirror stand looks fantastic and the photos will be coming shortly! It is a little wobbly, but Mom should be able to fix it!

Here is a picture of it right after the mirror was laid down on it to be positioned. As you can see, I had ALL kinds of feline assistance.

My body is killing me, even my butt hurts, so I'm gonna head out and get prone. My body will thank me.
I'll probably be in early while we wait for the wardrobe to be delivered. We don't know when that will be, only that we're scheduled for a morning delivery. After that, taking off for a while is a definite possibility.

Morning!!

I love how the Sunlord was claiming the mirror as "his" at one point.. That is soooooo cute and funny!! Looks like something our Amber would do!! (I still think the Sunlord is gorgeous!!)

The entire frame turned out beautifully!! I love the colors and the pattern y'all used on the frame... WOW!!! Of course, one of my favorite color combos is silver and black...... Cheesy

Today, I'm planning on working on some outlines, etc, and may even try to get some new stuff added to #7 if I can do it. Not sure if I'll be online or offline while doing that, it all depends on how distracting things are online when I'll be trying to work.

Other than that I should be around most of the daytime. I'm going to get caught up and get things ready for Son to go to school.

Morning.
The Home Depot driver called about 20 minutes ago. He's on the way with my wardrobe!

The big, furry one also claimed my vanity stool. I brought it down to make sure that it fit under the makeup table. It isn't painted yet but you can see what it looks like. LOL He just barely fits on it!

I'm going to zip down to the store for a few minutes... Hubby works this evening and we're getting low on a couple of things I may need before tomorrow... Since we're still down to one car, I have to go NOW or not at all.

To keep the peace (read: Son will have a meltdown if we run out of his favorite snacks!) I'm going.

Okay, we figured out where they were, gave them directions and they STILL drove right past the place but turned around before they got too far down the road. I stood in the road as they came back and MADE SURE that they pulled into the driveway!
The wardrobe has been delivered, unpacked and sorted.

I also got one of my belly dance costume-making books today. All will be good once everyone -- cats included -- settles down...

I'm back!

Leave it to delivery guys to get lost!! That's happened to us several times too, drives me crazy!

I got some editing done on #7 but nothing is really clicking in to work on at the moment... I am wanting to get a REALLY big argument written up but since that's going to take me a few hours to do, I'm putting it off until tomorrow, Thursday or Friday to work on. Son will be home in an hour and a half and I don't want to get very absorbed into it only to have to stop halfway through writing it up. I'm going to see if I can work on some outlines though, if any ideas come to me that is!! LOL

It's close to 80 F out there right now... I'm sitting here with the windows WIDE OPEN, flip flops on, no sweater and two fans going full tilt!! SPRING HAS ARRIVED!!!

I'm back too!
We finally got to Bloomington, which Spirit has been wanting, and while we were down there, I picked up another storage unit specifically for some of Spirit's things that have been threatening to take over my makeup table. Gods willing, I'll get it assembled today and get THAT problem taken care of!
Right now, however, I need tea!

Look out!

Spirit's storage unit is almost assembled. I'd really love to flay whoever decided that the middle of the unit -- which is held together with pegs that come out VERY easily -- should be assembled first and then rotated to put the top, bottom and sides on. I suppose that it would be possible if you had a very large workspace to assemble it in but I don't and my sweet disposition isn't so sweet at the moment. I still have to put the backing pieces on but I thought I'd check in first.

I just realized what time it is... I'm going to head out now, so Son can have some computer time and I can have some cuddle time with Miz Fluff Ball.

I'm not sure how much I'll be around while Son is in school, Hubby may be working part of the daytime, something like 3 to 4 hours if his boss wants him to... It's almost yearly inspection time and they need some painting done so that lands on Hubby because he's the ONLY man working there! LOL
