I'm starting to feel the need for CREED..... And Whom Gods Destroy........

Awwwwwwww......... It's raining so hard outside right now, I swear I saw a duck in a boat, wearing a slicker.......

That's the one thing I like about dial up, no interference with the weather gets wacky... well, minus lightening that is, one can hear the crackle on the phone line when it's in the air.....

Exactly.

I'm waiting for the guys to crash so I can do a full edit of what I wrote today..... And maybe jot down a quick outline for what I'll be attacking tomorrow while the guys are gone.

I'm now doing laundry I was SUPPOSED to do earlier today... OOPS!!

Well, t'was a fun day today.  The Dr. decided they were going to discharge my mother today and try to kick her out of the room before anyone could come and get her, as she lives over 200 miles away from here.  Long story short, I walked down to the hospital to stay with her in her room until Dad could get here.  It wasn't even a full 24 hours after her surgery  .  She's sore and she'll be off work until next Tuesday so hopefully she'll take it easy.  I'm going to go look at some pics, maybe that will help me feel less annoyed

That stinks. The getting discharged before someone could get there part, that is.

I gave up on trying to edit... A longtime friend I met in school was going to town on one of my pic albums in FB, which made me laugh a lot and knocked the concentration waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay out of whack.......

I'm getting tired anyway so maybe it's for the best. I'll dive into it all tomorrow morning after Son goes to school.

I am beat so I'm gonna take my tuckered out little bod to bed while I can still find it.

I have the MCEWCA file open (code name for the file I've been working on lately!) and will be doing the edit I started last night before my old school chum distracted me with her comments on one of my FB albums...... Good times, dear friends... Can't beat it!! 

I'm going to be going offline shortly to write but want to get into "writing mode" before I go offline... So I'm here but distracted for a bit.

And I am back!

The trip to Greenwood was highly successful. I got the pattern that I wanted (two copies covering all available sizes), some elastic and, at another store, a nice piece of "craft" plywood that I intend to make into a decorative plaque for the wardrobe. I intend to have two, one will be round -- and I already have the wood for that -- and the other rectangular. I'm getting an idea for the decorative accents but I'll need to think about it. I may have to get familiar with yet another "hobby"...
Right now though, I'm gonna kick back, have some tea and check out this pattern I bought.

LOL That will do it. I'm doing something completely unrelated to novel writing or furniture building and it is feeling quite novel.

  What`s happening today... The good news.. Mom is feeling pretty good.  The not so great news.. someone opened her front door after she went to bed which confirms someone has keys to the house who shouldn`t.  She is like me, totally paranoid about doors and checks and rechecks before she goes to bed no matter what.  They have also been getting into the garage for awhile so while the house is being roofed, Dad is getting her new locks today.  he bad news is that my cousin Beth passed away today, not even two months after her Mom.  My Uncle is devastated, if you can spare any positive energy, thoughts or prayers their way,  it would be appreciated. 

I practiced cutting plastic bags into `plarn`and crocheting it last night.  It will make decent grocery bags.  I also found some patterns for slippers, hats and even a laundry hamper.. could be interesting.  I think I`m going to grab some tea and knit for awhile to get my mind off things.
