We're going to make a run into town IF the Prince will show up. Skywise had them out for a walk and he gave him the slip. We've gotten the others in the house so it is just a matter of locating the Prince before it is too late to head into town. Skywise goes back to work today so we're on a "schedule" now.

In other news, I've figured out the solution to the design problem with the makeup table so it will be full speed ahead on that today around other chores.

Son's lunch is almost ready and I'm almost ready for the morning already. I just have to make some chicken for his lunch and I'll have that out of the way. Cheesy

The potato wedges are soaking so they lose a lot of the starch and will get crispier. I bake mine, less fat that way. Tongue

Hubby just called on the cell, it's been a wacky day for him today and I'm thinking he is really needing the next couple of days off... He needs to recuperate and recharge for the next weekend round of "idiot customers". Not all of the people that come into the station are dimwits but there seemed to be a lot of them this past weekend!! Roll Eyes

I've been working on the makeup table. I've designed it to be taken apart, which I intend to do when it's time to paint it. I'll take each piece/section up to the Guest House, paint it and bring it back when it is completely dry.
This is a lot of work but there is no way that Skywise and I will be able to get that sucker out of the basement all in one piece. Secondly, there is no way we could keep the cats away from it for the length of time needed for the paint to dry.
Washing black latex house paint out of the SunLord's fur does NOT appeal! Trying it would result in the need for stitches and a course of antibiotics (for us!) and we would STILL have a huge tomcat with black paint in his fur and definite disinclination to let us near him into the bargain. So it's "six of one, half dozen of the other" as far as work/effort goes. We've agreed that the course of action that does NOT involve giving one or more cats a thorough bath is the one to take!

I can completely understand why you don't want the furballs around the paint Penth!!! Amber wouldn't be as bad getting the paint out even though she hates water (she's laid back as heck and will let us do almost anything to her cleaning/medical wise) but Noelle would probably rip us to shreds and then some...... Yeah, at least he knows the kitty is okay!

Ours are passed out in various spots. Noelle is curled up on top of Son's book bag and Amber has claimed the dirty clothing in the hamper as her napping spot.

I'm thinking when it cools down, we may have some insanity later tonight.... Roll Eyes
