The last time I had a nap when it was just Son and I home was during his Primary Christmas vacation... He sat on the one chair watching TV quietly while I slept for a couple of hours. He was VERY good that day because he knew I was VERY sick and even did his best to help me as much as he could.

If I don't have the flu, it doesn't work, he'll go WONKY the instant I try having a snooze on the chair or the couch. Roll Eyes

Morning. I'm here but still not coherent yet.

Son has a birthday party to attend this afternoon so we'll be going to that. We're walking, it's just a little way down the road from our house. I'll be here but quiet while we're getting things together for that.

Son had a shower and my hair is clean and back into its usual ponytail. We're leaving in about half an hour to 45 minutes so I'm going to quickly finish getting ready.

We couldn't find the place where the party is. We walked over half a mile and nothing, I think it's out on the other road and that would take HOURS for us to walk. I don't have a car and Hubby is GONE, Son is ticked off and I'm fit to start shooting someone........ Smiley

I went up to the Guest House and wrestled the wardrobe door around and got it ready to paint. I can and probably will go up and put the primer on in a couple of hours which will allow me to get two coats of paint on it tomorrow if I get the lead out of my posterior and get a reasonably early start in the morning. THEN, it will be ready to hang on Wednesday. The Gods know I'm ready to hang it!!

I snuck up to the Guest House and got the primer on the wardrobe door so tomorrow morning, I can put the first coat of black paint on it. Then, a minimum of 6 hours later, I can put on the second coat. THEN we can hang the darn thing on Wednesday and....

BE....
DONE!!!!!!!!!!!!! Smiley
At which point I may treat myself to a modest ice cream pig out.....
