	Got some good news!! Our current member of the Legislative Assembly (provincial government) was just here and informed me that our road will be repaved THIS FALL! It's only going to be the two miles from the back end part of it (3 1/2 miles away from the highway) for about 2 miles of it, meaning the new stuff will end about a mile or so away from the highway end of it. That's all they have time to do this year and by the sounds of things, it will be finished next year. I'm VERY HAPPY about this! Our road wasn't too bad when we moved back here 9 1/2 years ago but over the last few years, the logging trucks who ignored the spring weight restrictions have banged it up so badly, it's an obstacle course of warped/broken pavement, uneven road in a lane and TONNES of potholes bigger than our (humongous) car! The attachment is a little stretch of road down by the creek which was taken in January and it's even WORSE now... And that's one of the better parts of the road in its current condition!

I don't mind it cool or dry, I just don't like the extremes of ultra humid and ultra cold, I prefer a nice healthy in between!

	If that DIMWIT from New Brunswick calls here ONE MORE TIME, he will be DEAD MEAT. He keeps calling my cell phone thinking it's one of his local friends but I can't get how he can mix up the area codes... NB has an area code of 506, which is a LOT different from the 902 area code we have here in Nova Scotia (And PEI)!! He's a blessed IDIOT......... GODS.

	And unfortunately my cell provider does NOT offer Call Blocking, else I'd block that DIMWIT from calling here constantly. I was told I'd have to change my cell number if it bothered me too much... Why should I have to change my number because some idiot can't get the fact that he is the one who has the wrong number and harassing me??? GODS.

	I'll be happy to be done with building projects. I want my hands to stop hurting, my knuckles to stop swelling and to be able to do my nails and know that the polish won't get knocked off or a nail broken in a couple of hours.....

	Morning. I've been here for a while but I've been going nuts trying to catch up.... It's another sunny, hot and humid day here again today, this is really turning into an old fashioned August. Normally it's starting to cool off and other years there was a "scent" of autumn in the air but not this year. It feels more like July than August! No complaints though, I'd rather have warmer weather as long as we can get it! I'll be here most of the daytime. Now to finish getting caught up!

	Afternoon. I've been up for a while but I zipped up to the Guest House to work on the door as soon has I could form a simple declarative sentence. The primer is on and the first coat of black will go on after Skywise goes to work. For now, time to get caught up and finish work on Book 2. Post # 25,789

	Morning. I'm not awake yet... Things are quiet here. Hubby is working his usual Friday daytime, Son is watching TV and Chubby Cat is snoozing away in her favorite box not that far from me. Other than the usual round of housework, etc, not much happening here... I may open NR/#7 today to see if I can do some editing on it while Son's quiet but I may not. I may just wait until school starts again in less than 2 weeks before I try to get back into it. I'll be here for the afternoon at least. Now to finish getting caught up and get more coffee into my system!
