	I'm back. The eyes are feeling a little better and we have a very ticked off kitty... She was getting PLENTY of snuggle time and wasn't impressed when I moved her off of my lap and went back on the computer... I'm expecting feline craziness any time now...

	It's just me and Son home for supper this evening... He's eating now and I'm thinking about tossing in a frozen pizza so I have something to eat for supper and Hubby has something to eat when he gets home tonight.

	I can imagine! I have to call Hubby and let him know there's something in the fridge for him that way he knows before he leaves work. Sometimes he stops at a fast food place to pick up something from the value menu after he gets off the closing shift, and I'd rather have him save the money and eat something from home.

	Morning. I've been in for a bit but have been busy catching up. I'm here until about 5:45, then we'll be watching the season finale of Doctor Who, we haven't seen it yet and I think it's going to be GOOD... Can't wait until the 50th anniversary episode.... Time to finish getting caught up and another shot of coffee into me!

	I've been jotting down ideas for Book 2 again... I just realized how easily I can expand something and I may put that in if Son will be quiet for a while. It won't take much to add to it, and it will make things a little less "tense" in that section. Heh.

	I've been back for a while and have been doing "quiet" stuff 'cause it is hot in the house and I don't want to turn on the AC. I've been keeping an eye on the Kansas City radar 'cause WD lives just south of the city. They are getting pounded right now.

	Morning. I've been up for a while, paying bills. Skywise has been out working on the dead tree. He just came in and told me that while getting a large piece off of the roof, he a) put his foot through the roof and b.) nearly fell off. He is now preparing to patch the hole. "I" am preparing to have a breakdown. This has NOT been my idea of a vacation!

	Afternoon. EEP Penth! Hopefully that's IT for fiascoes with the trees, etc! I'm just now getting caught up. I was up VERY late last night, WRITING, and have been to town and back already. It's Victoria Day here in Canada and not much is open. I was just zooming to the bank for some money and wanted "something" I should NOT have... Hehehehe.... I'm here for a few hours, as long as my eyes hold out at least. Since I was up very late and the eyes were half nuts by the time I crashed (after 4 a.m.) I'm feeling a tad wonky and only have one cup of coffee in me at the moment... I'm going to finish getting caught up and do the first reread/edit on what I got done last night. It's not in the main manuscript, it's something I'll be splicing in later when the time is right, after it's polished, etc. Did I eat that onion???

	I certainly hope so! He still has a few more sections he wants to cut off and once that's done, we'll be able to let it wait until next year or the year after to have the last of it taken down.

	Ew, I think one of my best local buds added a picture with a quote from "50 Shades".... That is something I do NOT need to see when I'm editing or working on my own stuff!!! EW EW EW EW EW EW EW EW EW EW EW EW!!!!!!!!

	I could tell it was from that because it's done in first person, and other books are done in "THIRD" person... GAG! Gotcha, no worries. I'll be here.

	As a writer, I find "first person" too limiting. "Third person" gives me a lot more flexibility in my storytelling.

	Same here. I always write in third person unless it's a snippet of a diary entry or something similar. I like having the flexibility and showing how all of the characters are reacting, feeling, etc instead of only one.

	For the most part, yeah it does. In some cases it works, like the Star Wars novel, "I, Jedi". Gods, it's been ages since I read that... I really should dig out my SW collection sometime... LOL

	It takes a really good author to pull it off and most aren't that good and a lot that are don't have the "feel" for it.
