Dinner is over and I've been working on some sewing while thinking about Book 4. I'm going to need a "Mission: Impossible" type mission [television show, not the lousy movies] for the book and I'm mulling over what the mission should entail. Smiley

Morning. It's a writing day so I'll be offline writing after Hubby goes to work.

I got a few more ideas in the brain last night after the guys crashed so I typed them up very quickly in the Ideas file... I also figured out how to lead into the first "fully over 18" scene and how it plays out!  Smiley

I'm debating on whether or not to have that as "scene 1" in the next chapter... hehehehehehehehehehehe..... I'll figure it out!

Time to get caught up quickly so I'm not waiting around and going nuts after Hubby leaves. COFFEE TIME!!! Cheesy

It's onion soup day today, I've decided that the food processor will be doing the slicing today though.  Not up to bawling my eyes out.  At least I know that I have nice strong onions!  Catch you a bit later!

I did the initial reread/edit and thankfully my son stayed away from the computer while I was doing it. It's NOT fit for little bunnies to see!!!

Heh. All I'm going to say about it otherwise is that it turned out pretty good despite going by fits and starts, and I need to add to it and polish it a lot more. I got the majority of a chapter done today and even spliced in a small blurb I had written up a while ago... AFTER some MAJOR tweaking on it that is! LOL

I'm REALLY going to be OUT OF IT when I get in here on Friday evening... I'll be alone from about 7:30 to 5 so LOTS of time to write that day... hehehehehe..................... Smiley

I'll probably be here by the time you get back. We don't normally stay at the track until closing so we'll be leaving any time after the race is over. It's only 40 laps/100 miles and if all goes well, it should take about an hour to run. I'll be exhausted, most likely and we "may" stop to eat. We'll decide that then.

Gotcha Penth... There are only 20 odd days left in the year and I have less than 8 days to write so I'm going to take advantage of any time alone between now and summer vacation so I can get as much done on this manuscript as I can before my "two month" break.

Whoa, I'm still a little out of it. If I didn't have to get up in the morning, I'd continue writing after the guys crashed, but my eyes will probably bleed or explode in protest if I try it!

I'm seeing a LOT of areas in the one chapter that need revisions so I'm doing that in between hiding the dratted manuscript files when my son walks by the computer.... I'd love to have an hour or two to work without having to worry about him seeing anything right now. Geez!  Smiley

I'll do that sometimes too... Even if it's only the dialogue without the actions. I can always fill them in later. I did that with a conversation that wound up being part of what is now Chapter 31 of NR. Once I figured out the situation and where the convo would happen, adding the actions fell into place and it worked perfectly. Cheesy

Revisions done on that particular area, now I'm going to do another quick reread on a couple of sweeter moments... Stuff that won't damage my son if he happens to see any of it! LOL Cheesy

I've got about five different situations that are "in progress" right now and my brain is jumping from one to another with no warning whatsoever. I simplified things by putting them all in one word document so all I have to do scroll up or down as needed. It's only 27 pages long at the moment so that isn't too difficult. When I have a few hundred pages it will be a different story!

I couldn't do that... Brain can only work on one section at once. I'd be so darn confused, I'd get things mixed up and REALLY mess things up in the story.

I'm now revising what I wrote today, the second edit. Everything leading into it is now "in line" a LOT better, and I'm praying my son stays in the living room while I'm doing the more detailed revisions on this part!!!

I'm thinking #1 hottie fix as a reward for THIS one........  Smiley

It's just the way my brain works, I guess. I do have to be careful about keeping things straight. Of course, it comes in handy when I run dry on once section, I can work on another one and keep things moving.

I have different files I use for things like that, all to be revised and spliced in after the rough copies are done. I just can't work on more than one section at the same time else I want the brain to start protesting by backfiring on me! LOL

And I just realized how... ahem... different..... "certain things" are between this story and Book 1............ Shocked It's a challenge to switch gears like that but it's interesting and keeps me from falling into a rut with different things! Smiley
