So the eyes seem to be holding out okay at the moment BUT the  Smiley carpal tunnel syndrome is going nuts on me right now. I just took a shot of aspirin and hopefully it will be okay for a while. I wish I could find my splints. They're a PITA to wear but they do help.

Boy am I paying up for yesterday's ultra long writing spree... It's worth it though. LOL

I'll be taking off in a bit, after I get a little more editing/revising out of the way. Son is watching TV and as long as the eyes can hold out for another hour I'll be happy. LOL

"Good bad influence." And he did have me pretty well figured out. The Gods know "he" couldn't keep me out of trouble. NOT that he tried that hard. Smiley We had a lot of fun being "bad" and upsetting various jealous/envious "female canines" and I look forward to doing so again once "obnoxious real life" gets its skinny butt (Does "real life" even HAVE a butt? Something to ponder.) out of the way.

Not writing tonight but I am thinking. I'll probably have my notebook handy tomorrow while I'm making the audio recording of the race. The idea for the "Mission: Impossible" subplot is beginning to take form and so far it looks pretty good.

The sun is OUT!!!

My poor eyes are so used to the rain and clouds that they're hurting now!!! Sad Oh well.... At least things MAY dry up a tad today. The lawn is a mile high due to the fact it's been so wet lately and Hubby hasn't been able to cut it. Hopefully later this week.

There's a happy kitty here. She had LOTS of snuggles a few minutes ago (draped over my left shoulder, purring away) and I just opened the windows to change the air in the house and let some of the sunny breeze inside. It's gorgeous out there and I am SO GLAD to be able to do it again. It's been too wet and too cold to do it the last week or so and it feels and looks nice to see open windows again! LOL

Now I'm waiting to hear a few growls and yowls and to see Cat's tail poofed up a mile... She was in the living room window but has moved her fat bum to the kitchen window... If she sees one of the neighborhood kitties in our yard, there WILL be a LOT of furry posturing and snarling! Roll Eyes

Morning.
It's chilly and damp here today. We had rain last night and the grass is too wet to cut so Skywise will be doing the audio taping that I normally do for him. So I'll be doing other stuff while he's doing that. Right now, I need to get tea, something to eat and get busy in the kitchen.

Glad that I could help.
The meat for dinner is in the crockpot.
I have tea and I've had something to eat.

And the race will be starting in about 40 minutes. Skywise is handling the audio taping chores this year since he can't cut the grass (too wet) as he traditionally does on Race Day. He "races" around the yard on the lawnmower while he listens to the race on a portable radio using headphones, of course. LOL

Anndddddd....... The record function on the radio has quit. Skywise is not happy but we can get it from the Speedway when they release it. I told Skywise that I was glad he was doing the taping this year 'cause if he wasn't, I'd be having hysterics right now.
