I'm now debating which section of the manuscript to work on tomorrow... Something silly or the first lead in to the build up to the grand finale? Hmm.....  Smiley

If I can't make any headway in creating the characters I need, I'll probably work on either the torture scene or the magickal combat between a minor villain and Our Heroine. And I've got another loose end that needs to be violently tied off once and for all. After that, most of the bloodshed will be taken care of until the last chapter.

That all sounds awesome dearest Mentor! I was thinking of that one scene where the leading man will LITERALLY be shaking in his boots for mine....  Smiley If that doesn't work, I may just continue on with the main manuscript. The leading characters have a LOT to talk about and I have a good portion of the dialogue for that in Brain now. Heh.

Having the dialog is half of the battle.

I dug out one of my knee braces and washed it -- it needed it! -- and once it's dry I'm going to see if it will help my knee. The left one is driving me crazy. Skywise, WD and I are agreed that I could NOT have walked 2 plus miles to get into the track on Friday. WD was of the opinion that I couldn't have made it without a wheelchair and I agree. Even if we HAD been able to park in the infield I couldn't have walked from the third turn (where we usually end up parking) or the fourth to the grandstands and the trams aren't as punctual or frequent as one would like. On Saturday, we got there 5 minutes after the gates opened and got a choice spot (just past the fourth turn heading for the finish line) and even then, getting back to the van when we were ready to leave was exhausting and painful. Next year, whenever we go we'll be sacrificing sleep to get there early so we can park as close to the action as we can.

Yeah it is! I had the dialogue for one part of Book 1/NR written up without the actions LONG before I actually hit that part of the manuscript... When I reached it and knew what was going to happen, I just did copy/paste of what the characters were saying and added in the actions. It was rather neat to do it like that.

I havent' found my splints yet... I'm going to ask Hubby if I can get another pair of them after I get the eye appointment and new glasses out of the way and paid for, that way I have at least one pair floating around at all times. Resting the hands help but not as good as wearing splints. My hands tingled for about six hours after the writing marathon was done on Friday, and that's even after I had a few doses of aspirin in me! Shocked  Smiley

Well, maybe that one spot doesn't need revisions after all???? Hmm............... I may ask my beta reader to check it over for me sometime later this week, just to see if it's logical or not. (Penth, you have been warned! LOL)

I'm going to hang out for another half hour while I do a few revisions and have my second cup of coffee for the day. I don't like the last two scenes I added to Chapter 17 being there, so I'm going to take them out and put them back in at a later date. I'll figure out something else to add to that spot in a bit.
