I'm not finding anything useful in classical mythology so I'm gonna have to make up what I need from scratch.

Hey   Having a quick coffee break while cupcakes are baking!  Sooo excited for birthday cupcakes!  Going to make butterscotch dreamwhip frosting.  I'm gonna be a bad diabetic tonight

It's been raining off and on since friday here, still raining today.  The grass has gone from flat to a foot in places and my dandylions are huge.  Too wet to cut though.  I might try my hand at dandylion wine, or maybe jelly, as there's lots and they're very clean from the rain. 

I wouldn't be baking this late but I went to read and fell asleep...  so much for being a party girl eh?  LOLS!

Thanks   The bakery that I loved in town here closed several years ago.  Unfortunately everything else on offer here seems so terribly sweet, you can't really enjoy it.  Unfortunately no one wants to take on the cost of starting a old fashioned bakery here.  Your little man is growing up so fast!  Some year soon, he'll want to bake his own cake for his birthday!  Those were fun years I tell yah!


Our mosquitos have made a nice come back   but they are finally getting rid of the dirt and gravel.  It's been so dirty here because of all the extra grit used over the long winter.  Anyways I have to figure out what I want for supper, if we're making it or getting take out.  I'm not in the mood for TO but I don't want to cook either... dilema!

Our Walmart has basically a tiny corner for the "grocery" section and doesn't even have a bakery. It's maybe 7 or 8 half aisles, TOPS. We generally get our cakes from the Atlantic Superstore or Sobeys. They are VERY sweet but I find if you scrape off about 80% of the icing, they're edible. We do have one or two old fashioned bakeries around here, one is on Victoria Road, just up the hill from one of the local bars, and their stuff is good. Expensive but good. Another spot is one of the farm markets out on the way to Greenfield but they're even more expensive. We only go out there for brown bread once in a VERY long time as a treat, but it's worth the trip! LOL

No, diabetic coma is definitely bad.

Well, Skywise is home and I'm beat. I did manage to add some new material to Book 4. It will probably need some punching up. It's a "magickal" combat and it seems a bit "static" but I'm getting the basics down and I can add choreography later. I may have to get out my Hero System game books and work it out that way. It's been a while and I'm a little rusty. But right now, I'm ready to fold like a futon so I'm outta here.

I have Word open to the Main Manuscript file of Book 2 and I'm going to see about getting the detailed revisions/editing done this morning while Hubby is watching TV and my son is in school. It's relatively quiet here so hopefully I can get it done without too many interruptions! Here but quiet.
