	I'll soon have to stop and take a break, we'll be getting things together to go see my mother and brother in law after Monkey gets off the bus... Which will be in about half an hour. I'm debating on whether it's warm enough to wear the sandals or put my sneakers back on....

	Well, the God is dead but I haven't written the part where he gets that way but his severed head has been presented to his kin and the other Gods so the outcome of the combat isn't in doubt even if I haven't hammered out the details yet! I'm getting what easy "blood and guts" stuff out of the way now that I can because the rest of it is gonna be tough to write.

	Afternoon. I'm here between cloudbursts. We had a monsoon this morning that kept us off the satellite, then we went to town to pick up a few things. Now we're back and I'm getting caught up. There's more rain coming so it's possible that I'll be offline later. I don't know how much writing I'll do today but I'll be doing a LOT of "figuring out." Post # 28,900

	I'm back. It took me a while to get "into the groove" of being in the head of a main character from NR again but the foundation for that scene is down, and it looks good so far. Eyes and brain hurty.

	At least she waited with the lights flashing until my son was up to me, they have to do that if the parent isn't right there. He's safe and happily munching on a snack and watching Loony Tunes. I'm now doing the more detailed reread of the stuff I got done today. I really had to take the time with it because I'm no longer in "NR's Groove" (one scene is from the POV of a main character from that book) but the basics are there and people who read NR will be busting their guts.........

	And we just got another scam call about our "Windows Security"... I told the dimwit we had a MacIntosh and hung up on her. Rude, I know but I am SO SICK OF SCAMMERS!!!

	Agreed on that! In this particular case, they're trying to get your security number, etc so they can get your ENTIRE profile that you have on your computer, right from who owns the system and any passwords you have for different sites so they can get your credit card info, etc. It's a scam, nothing more. They called here once about a year or so ago and when they said there was a problem with the security on the computer, Hubby told them he didn't own one (it's the truth, the computer is registered in MY name, not his) and they hung up pretty darn quickly........

	Morning. It's another scorcher out there already and it's just past 8 a.m. here. It's 20C/70F and it's supposed to hit 28/82 later this afternoon, with humidity making it feel closer to 32/90. I'd say summer has finally hit the province! I'll be around between housework and editing... WHEN my son lets me open Word without plastering his nose against the monitor that is...

	It's not hard to tell the humidity is up... I was doing dishes and puttering around the kitchen a little bit and sweating like crazy. I think Hubby better bring down the big fan tonight to help with air circulation and to help us dry off!!

	You know it's a hot day when even Cat is being ultra lazy........ She's been passed out on the living room windowsill, watching the birds and other things through the screen. I'm expecting the neighbor's cats to "visit" and then she'll poof up the tail and start hissing, growling, snarling and yowling......... It's going to be one of those days. She was in a sassy mood from the time we got up because we had the AC on in the bedroom and she wasn't allowed to sleep with us... Then to top it off, Son sneezed on her and that made her disposition even crankier. SIGH I'm expecting furry insanity when the house cools down a little bit this evening. May the gods help us............
