I'm taking a break so I'm going to make a detailed list of the revisions/additions I have to do in Book 2 over the next while... I'm making a separate list so I can keep track of them and what's done, etc a LOT easier.

Boy I feel really stupid right now even if it's still in First Draft. *SIGH* Better now than in Draft 2 or 3 like Book 1... Penth caught those for me and thanks to talking things over with her, Book 2's stuff was caught EARLY.. Thank the gods........  Smiley

Well, I finally located the broom and the kitchen is swept... I still have a few things for Hubby to haul away from the table and such but it's done for now. It's too hot to move a lot today!  Smiley

I just made some homemade roasted garlic butter for garlic bread. I formed it into a log using plastic wrap and it's in the freezer chilling now... I can hear my husband's disgusting remarks in my head about the shape, etc already and he won't be home until about 6 or so.... Roll Eyes

It's too darn hot to work on much unless you're in front of a fan or have the AC on here. My desk fan is up on high right now and it isn't making a difference... Son is chilling in front of the TV and I imagine he'll want his supper soon. Thank the gods for TOASTER OVENS so I can bake stuff without making the kitchen overly hot on days like today.....

Sunshine and temps close to 90F over here. A lot of my friends were at the beach today.. Well, some were at one, others were at the other two large ones in this area. We may go tomorrow night if it's still like this... And from what I saw on the Weather Network, it's going to be another day like today.

Summer is officially here in my end of Nova Scotia.

And hello HURRICANE SEASON... *pretends to hang herself!*

Makes me extra grateful for the warm temps here today. Six months ago I was freezing the tail off and couldn't wait for summer to get here!

Cat doesn't like it much cause she's locked out of the room due to us wanting the AC's cool air to be kept in the bedroom.... She was REALLY sassy this morning!  Smiley

We woke up to no power this morning. We were all grumpy. A vehicle left the road and became acquainted with a utility pole, "disconnecting" a big chunk of the neighborhood. Power was out for around four hours.

*SIGH* I hate it when something like that happens.

Right now, I'm going to be ignoring FB... Rumors are flying around that site about Matt Smith leaving Doctor who at the end of this year. Cry *IF* he does leave, I will NOT be a happy girl. Yeah, Ten (David Tennant) was my favorite incarnation but Eleven (Smith) is a VERY close second and I think he's a brilliant actor.

I do NOT want to hear anything until the BBC makes their official announcement so I'm signed out of FB and with a little luck, may get some editing done while the guys are glued to the "DUH TUBE".

On second thought, I swear that my child's radar is working full force... he was fine until I mentioned "editing" in here, then WHAM, he's out in the kitchen.

Someone shoot me please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Smiley

Yeah I saw you did... You're right FB has a LOT of "squirrels" in it, and NOT good for when one wants to concentrate on the writing or editing. *SIGH*

I'm glancing through Chapter 5 and thinking there's a few paragraphs that COULD be culled from it... IF I do that, they will go back in, as "inserts".

I go completely offline. I find that my brain can't divide its attention between even here and the writing most of the time. I can be in here while writing but I'd prefer to have NO distractions, or as little as possible... *looks at Cat*...

I'm debating whether or not to stay up for a couple of hours after the guys crash to work. I do want to get those revisions OUT of the way before my next writing day. I think it's Wednesday and Friday for me this week.
