Morning. We've been home for a bit but I've been buzzing around getting a couple of things done. I bought 3 yards of black tulle yesterday at Walmart -- might get more later -- and while it's too late to get inspired this year, I'll be ready for next year.

Skywise has just informed me that a little brown bat has set up housekeeping on the Guest House's back porch. It's kinda exposed so we don't know if it's permanent or temporary. Either way it is SO COOL!
We're thinking of building a bat house. We like watching them fly around sunset in the summer and they DO eat mosquitoes.

Oh yeah and as scary as it is to finish my second book in just over two years, it'll be a relief to finish it and relax for a bit while the writing batteries recharge!  Smiley

This assumes that the "writing" portion of your brain is willing go into "downtime" for any lengthy period.

And I found a dowel rod so I was able to draw the arc I needed with the bar compass.

I'm not going to be finishing the toaster cover today. *snark* The extra wide, double fold bias tape I have is too small. I'll need to hit the notions rack at Walmart for some quilt binding which is pretty much the same stuff but wider. At least I can see how it fits....

I may sneak one in after Hubby leaves for work in the morning. My current pair of ear buds went PFFT! this morning so watching something on the computer is out until I get a new pair. *SIGH*

That was me about... *checks her calendar*... EIGHT months ago, when I had NO CLUE how Book 2 was going to go...

Then you sent me the idea that lit a fire under my tush and look at me now. I'm on the cusp of finishing it, with a two month break for summer vacation and writing only PART TIME!

It'll happen, Penth. One of these days, you're going to wonder how you got whapped with it and it'll start consuming you the way my two books consumed me! Wink

I've added a bit more to Book 4, did some dishes and some mending. I'm gonna move fast and get a load of laundry thrown in the washer before Agents of Shield comes on. Tonight's a repeat but I'm gonna watch it anyway. I probably won't be able to see this one again until the DVDs come out.
