Rather like me yesterday.

I'm slowly figuring out how to get my "victim" where the hornets can get at him and he can't get away. Still thinking and sewing and checking out a certain vampire. Tis the season, ya know!

Probably. That storm hit WD the night before it got here so the timing is about right. It was pulling heat/moisture up from the Gulf as it was passing through here which is why the weather folks were so worried.

We had some pretty strong wind here last night so if you want/need to take off, it's okay.

We'll be cleaning up the yard tomorrow. Some pieces of tree that are too large to leave until spring are going to have to be hauled to the woods.

The wind is getting gustier and I'm starting to get worried. I'm heading out now and hopefully the power stays ON. Hubby isn't home yet but the car has been having problems so I'm assuming he's stuck somewhere without access to a payphone or taking it REALLY easy on his way home tonight. He refuses to take the cell with him, his coworkers do NOT know we have one. As far as he's concerned, if we are NOT home when someone from work calls, that's their problem, and he doesn't want to be bothered if we're on a day trip. The school or our mothers calling is one thing, work bugging him is another.

Very quiet Samhain here, no vandals near our place, no kids either though.  Half the street lights on our block don't work so it's truely frightening.  The weather was quiet calm, chilly.  Lots of smoke. 

We've been having our postal service cut back here as well.  First they took our local sorting/distributing away.  Now they are talking about taking away our home delivery.  Downtown here they don't really have any property set aside in areas that would be suitable for community boxes and the Main post office was gutted and turned into separate government agency offices over 20 years ago.   I'm seriously hoping they will drop this nonsense. 

I have some good news   The bloke got me a small tablet with a kindle app so I can finally enjoy your books without straining my eyes at the computer Penth!  Just getting back into them now!  Anyway, I have alot of posts to catch up on here so I'm going to try and make a dent in that.  It's good to be back

Okay. I can NOT stay awake any longer. The cognitive functions are going offline and the body is demanding to get prone in no uncertain terms! So, I'm going to take the hint and head out.

I'm still not feeling great so I've been playing games in FB and now I'm continuing on with the full reread of Book 2 and taking notes on where to make the bigger changes, etc. I may sneak out to have cuddle time and a nap on the chair with Miss Lardbucket later.

I'm here, we did our usual Saturday stuff. We hit Hobby Lobby and Half Price books and came home with a haul. I have enough heat resistant/reflective fleece to last me the rest of my life -- probably!

I will now relax and get caught up!

Just popping in quick   It's great to be back!  I'm enjoying the series immensely Penth now that I can read it on the small screen in night mode.    So, much easier on the eyes!  Whenever the fourth is done I'll be happy It'll be worth the wait!

VE, this weather is not being kind to anyone.  The temperature and pressure changes make everything ache..  My boys also brought home the flu for me :/  I've been rubbing vicks into my feet and knees.  The bloke has Voltarin (from here) and ibuprophen gel (from UK) that really sees to help with the aches.  I don't know why they won't sell ibuleve gel here, it's so gentle and works!  Hope you feel better soon!

The Doctor Who marathon may be on today but I'll be working on the final reread of Book 2 before it goes into its first perk cycle. I'm in Chapter 38 of it at the moment and with a little luck, I'll get that done today.

If I finish it, I'll be working on the final reread of Book 1 before I send it to our Penth for her enjoyment and to see if I missed anything else. I hope I didn't and it's probably what readers will see when it's published, whenever that will be! LOL

It's a darn good thing I do NOT have any full days alone this coming week (Hubby works all evening shifts) because I'd probably go wonky like I did this past Friday. It was NOT pretty at all and I wasn't fit to be around anyone, not even my husband or son. Yeah, I was that bad by times. *SIGH*

I'm on coffee #4 or 5 right now so it's helping on my end.

I'm soon going to get some lunch. I actually feel like eating today.
