Hubby is on his way to work and I'll be trying to do a full edit on Eleven's first couple of chapters today in between things. Not sure how much I'll be around or posting.

Been up at the Guest House working on my project while Skywise works on his new chessboard. Yes, he makes his own chessboards. He's currently gluing the veneer squares onto a quarter sheet of 3/4 inch birch plywood. My project is less ambitious and thank the Gods things don't have to be as precise for my project! I need to have it done in time for "field testing" on the 4th of July and it looks like I'll make it.

And I think I've found what I need to put a "headlight" on it.....

Dishes.. the story of my life!  I will be doing those tom morrow... forever lols!

Hasn't been a fun May long but it has been productive.  MIL now has a new floor and freshly painted walls in her bedroom.  Even let me vacuum for her without hovering...

So I am sore and tired!  Ready for bed soon...  just wanted to check in, will catch up reading tomorrow be well and safe y'all ((hugs))

It's Victoria day here in Canada, which is a national/statuary holiday. For most places that is. Schools and anything related to the governments are closed but some stores are open. Hubby has the day off so I'm expecting chaos today between the two guys and the furball. Roll Eyes I will be trying to get a full edit/reread done on Eleven. Key word is TRY. The local beta reader is around so I'll probably hear the dog leash cracking the air soon.... LOL

The summer season has officially started up here, but it doesn't feel like it. I'm back to wearing my polar fleece sweaters and it's raining outside. Where in the heck is the warmer weather??? Sad

Slept in this morning so I'm still waking up.  It's a cold, drab, rainy VDay here too.  There's a couple stores open today which is good because I have a few odds and  ends that need picking up.  Still need to do dishes.. lols!  I do have an appointment tomorrow to see a different denturist.  I'm really excited about that!  I will have new teeth before the youngest graduates this year!  Yeah Cheesy

We're back. We ran into the city to visit Skywise's sister and to make a few other stops. Now we're back and I'm tired. Last night the furnace was on and today it's in the high 70s/low 80s. The weather can NOT make up its mind!
