	I'm working on Cliffside Story and slooowwwwly making headway with the fight scene. I'm managing to stay out of the cookies but my fingernails are taking a beating every time I stop to think. I DEFINITELY need to put some sort of needlework next to the computer to keep my fingers busy when I'm not typing!

	Well, at least I've come up with a couple of names I needed for Cliffside Story so I don't have "XX" and "XXX" dotting the text. This cold, wet, gloomy weather is making me sleepy. I'm constantly yawning and I KNOW I've had enough sleep. The Queen coaxed/lured me into a nap this afternoon!

	Back from town. We got the laundry soap, cinnamon rolls and catfood. We also got underwear, socks, wood screws and stationary supplies..... The shopping list seems to grow exponentially the minute we walk into a store. ANY store! sigh

	Cliffside Story's first draft is done! Spirit has a dental appointment in the morning -- checkup and cleaning -- so I'll be printing it out after we get back. Then I will resolutely put a paper clip on it and set it aside for a week -- minimum! -- before I start editing it. In the meantime, I'll research the market, work on "First Death" or "Happy Birthday" and I still plenty of work to do in the basement so I'm pretty sure that I won't bite my nails down to the quick while I'm waiting to get back to Cliffside Story.

	We got back at 12:30. Skywise is at work by now and I'm just getting ready to start on a small mountain range of laundry which I can now do since I have enough laundry soap. I'll also be printing out Cliffside Story (the clipboard is all ready for it) and do a few other odds and ends including running the dishwasher between loads of laundry. I'd better get busy. Back in a while.

	Skywise is home and dinner's over. I've been trying to track down some information this evening and have come up empty. I've found a lot of other useful information that I'm tucking away for later but NOT what I was looking for. sigh At least all this hunting has allowed me to ignore the siren call of "Cliffside Story" until bedtime -- which it now is. 	Finally found the information I was looking for last night. Seems I was looking in the wrong place which tells me that I was more tired than I thought. I've been organizing some research which is sharpening my editing skills and keeping me away from "Cliffside Story." I'm going to try to hold out until the end of the week, then I'll start searching it for typos and such...

	We're back from our weekly grocery run. They're harvesting the soybeans across the road and the kitties aren't happy. The combine is big and noisy and it hurts their ears and alarms their sensibilities.
