Dinner done. Keeping Skywise's dinner warm since neither he nor I have any idea when he'll be home.

I find myself needing another storage unit. I'm fervently hoping that I can find what I need and that it doesn't cost too much. I REALLY don't want another "from scratch" building project....

Morning!

It's sunny and clear but chilly as heck. They're still saying rain/snow flurries for Friday which is certainly no "treat"! The trick or treaters are going to need to wear long underwear under their costumes and carry umbrellas along with their trick or treat bags.

Happy Halloween!
It's gloomy, windy, rainy and cold today. A most excellent day to curl up with a hot chocolate and read or write a book. A nap will also likely be in order since I got to bed late last night and the Queen is known for wanting cuddles on days like today.

More research and working on rearranging my workspace. Things tend to accumulate around the computer and the area needs to be shoveled out periodically. To really manage everything I'd need a computer desk, a regular desk, a worktable, at least 16 feet of bookshelves and a storage cabinet (with the copier on top) in addition to the usual office supplies and a computer. AND at least two chairs because without a doubt there would be a cat in one of them at any given time!

I'm proofreading some reference material that I've collected from various pdfs and online sources and put into a word document with headings, paragraphs, page numbers and eventually a table of contents so I can actually FIND what I'm looking for when I need it. Since the authors of most of this stuff relied on "spellcheck" and not a real live proofreader, I'm finding a lot of cases of "wrong word spelled right" which I'm correcting. Excessive wordiness and asides that wander off into the hills that I don't really need are being dealt with too.

Dinner is over, the sausage is made and the laundry is done. So are the dishes and a certain amount of work has been done in the basement about which my arms, shoulders and knees are complaining. We also went to lunch and I took care of a couple of minor things involved with a couple of non-writing projects.
There is nowhere we have to be tomorrow and nothing we have to do in the morning before Skywise goes to work which suits me just fine.
