We got back from town a little while ago. A belt on the lawn mower broke and we went in to get a new one and had some late lunch while we were there. Skywise found what he needed and he's currently putting it on. "I" am finishing the laundry I was doing when the belt broke and we took off. Then I'm gonna get prone. My left shin is unhappy and getting off my feet is likely a good idea...

It's raining.
We went to the Children's Museum where I tried to adjust to the bifocals.
I put my thumb through a full cup of Coke, soaking myself and the front of the van.
Washing my raincoat now.

Skywise decided that we needed to go into town to get gas and a couple of things he forgot over the weekend so we did and ate while we were there.
Also looking at the big piece of tree that came down in the backyard last night. *sigh* I'd hoped that the trees were done shedding dead wood but I guess they aren't.

Today is Skywise's birthday and we went into town for lunch. We went early so there would be time for a nap later which I think I'm going to go get right now. There are not enough hours between 4 am (when I went to bed) and 10:45 am when I got up!

FINALLY got a nap in but it wasn't easy. If it wasn't the phone it was the gas man showing up. Just what we need, propane bills to go with the property tax bills.
At least Agents of SHIELD is on in less than an hour. That's something.

AoS was, as usual, a barn burner. And as usual, people are going to be jumping to all the wrong conclusions. At least we now have an idea about how they're going to bring Ward back into the fold and even without the "Tahiti treatment" he's showing signs of wanting to come back to the team. Next week's episode, which airs just a few days before Avengers 2: Age of Ultron and ties into the movie should be "explosive" since it it supposed to lead almost directly into the opening of AoU. Then two more episodes dealing wth the aftermath after the movie. I've already told Skywise that we HAVE to see AoU the first weekend or the last two episodes of AoS won't make sense! LOL I don't think he believes me!

We're back from town. Spirit will have to have a filling put in but other than that, she got a clean bill of dental health. She's a little worried about the filling but it's no biggie and she'll come through like a trooper.

I woke up around two and have been getting things done. Skywise is on the way to work and I'm deciding what to do next. Making sausage is on the list as is my daily check for used vans.
And wash some dishes.
And do some laundry.
And add a few rows to the afghan I'm working on....

I ended up taking another nap. I sat on the bed to work on the afghan and think about Book 4, had an idea about it, stretched out next to the Queen to figure out the particulars and fell asleep! I guess I needed the rest. Anyway the sausage is made, dishes were washed but more are dirty now and I "did" get a little work done on that "monster" afghan. No laundry was done but I "should" be able to make a dent in it tomorrow. I'm certainly not going to start it THIS late!

Back from payday shopping and I have a headache. I wore my bifocals in Walmart and couldn't see a damned thing clearly. Everything was brighter but NOTHING was in focus. Skywise is fit to be tied. EyeGlass World called this morning to say my reading glasses are in. Skywise is about ready to return these and notify the credit card company that there is a problem. I don't know if that will do any good since the payment has already gone through. EyeGlass World may take their time making glasses but they sure put those payments through promptly! *sigh* Anyway, I'm wearing my trifocals at the moment so I can see to work on the computer. We'll see how the reading glasses work after we pick them up tomorrow.
Now to get caught up.
