	Back. Took a short nap and got a number of things done, including baking Moonie's birthday cake and hunting for vans (no joy there). I forgot to mention that Skywise heard a "chirping" noise in the basement this morning and suspected that one of the kits had brought "something" into the house while the back door was open. It turned out to be a chipmunk. Fortunately for all concerned, Spirit was able to catch it in a "capture jar" and release it outside. It was uninjured and hopefully will now be more careful!

	We're back. I can only see out of my right eye. The left lens is screwed up in both pairs of glasses. I'd cry if it would do any good.... Time to get caught up before my eyes give out.

	I rested my eyes and took a nap -- which I apparently needed -- and then we went out to dinner for Moonie's birthday. We're back now and have yet to cut the cake -- we're all stuffed -- but we will later. Moonie has her presents and all is right with her world. Which is as it should be!

	I'm back long enough to say goodnight. I've been working on my monster afghan (currently 66 rows by approximately 88 inches) which doesn't strain my eyes so much and I'll have spent my "resting eyes" time doing something useful AND I'll have something to show for it when it's done. It is a ripple pattern and, as you might suspect, it is wide bands of black and red separated by narrow bands of white. By the time it's finished, I will have burned the technique of "basic ripple afghan" into my brain. I've got a book of more complex patterns that I may try later. I want to finish the monster, a pink and gray lap robe and maybe a couple of smaller afghans for the girls' beds. Anyway, it is time for me to head out. Everyone sleep well and be safe.

	Dinner was ready an hour ago but we're just now eating 'cause the Princesses -- both of them! -- decided to take a very long walk and only came back about ten minutes ago. I twisted my leg while looking for them and it is NOT happy. Aspirin in my future, I think......

	Greetings. The body did NOT feel good when I woke up this morning but the pain is easing up some now although getting prone will be something I'll do while the washer is running. We bought Spirit a new mattress and box spring this morning. It will be delivered Wednesday. Need fresh tea, cake and aspirin.....

	Greetings. I've been cleaning house this morning. As usual during the winter, things have gotten more than a bit cluttered and disorganized and since it is finally starting to feel like spring, I've started "spring cleaning." 	Back from napping. I've been doing more "decluttering" and I'm about ready to quit that and get ready for Agents of SHIELD which leads into -- sort of -- Avengers: Age of Ultron. Spirit has informed her father that we're seeing the movie on Sunday and he wisely agreed since I had mentioned that same thing! Marvel movies are usually excellent so we anticipate a very good time! 32 minutes to Agents of SHIELD and counting......
