	Well, we went to the Children's Museum today which knocked my plans for the day into a cocked hat. We got back at 4 and I've been resting -- I was/am exhausted -- before starting on the basement. I don't know how much I'll get done but it will have to be enough.

	Okay. I'm sweating like a racehorse. I smell like one too (catastrophic antiperspirant/deodorant failure in progress!) BUT there is a path in the basement to where the satellite cable comes into the house and a path to where it comes upstairs. There is also room to work where the modem is placed so......... All that's left is to finish tidying up where the cable comes through the floor and up to the ceiling and then the computer. Everything else can go to hell -- or more so than it already has! [Lack of mobility makes housework painful and "slow going".] It will probably be Wednesday or Thursday before I can even think about doing anything 'cause I know I'm gonna hurt like hell in the morning and walking to the fireworks on Tuesday won't help in the slightest!

	Damn. The belt on the lawnmower broke and no one local has any. Sooooooo....... tomorrow Skywise will go to Lowe's in Greenwood (where we bought the mower) to get a belt while I wait for the HughesNet guys. I'm hoping that he'll be back before they get here.

	Everything from the neck down aches so I'm going to crash for a bit before I start dinner. Fortunately, it's frozen lasagna and while it will take a while to bake, I don't have to do anything other than shove it in the oven, followed by the breadsticks once it's done.

	Dinner's over and I'm still aching all over. Now that I'm done working and sweating, I'm gonna get cleaned up and change for bed. Oh! And Moonie saw Skywise and Spirit on television tonight. They were at a presentation about Ryan White by his mother and sister and news cameras were there.

	I'm keeping an eye on our usage (the System Control Center is open in another tab) and it's obvious that they don't "quite" have the bugs worked out of the "metering" yet. We start with 30 gigabytes. We went down to 29.7. Then it reset to 30. Then went down to 29.9. Then reset again. Now it's back to 29.9 and we have 0 "Token bytes" when we started with 30 and we have NO idea how to use the darn things, let alone use them all! We'll be very conservative in our usage until they get things straightened out.....

	As near as I can tell, we've used less than a gigabyte so far today. Yes, the counters -- there are two of them -- can't agree and keep resetting upward. Post # 65,600 for the site.

	We're back from the fireworks. It was a better show than last year but shorter than it has been in past years. I think the fact that the two "Good Ole Boys" (one Democrat and the other Republican) are no longer trading the office of Mayor back and forth between them may have something to do with that. The new mayor is a woman and she's shaking things up and getting things done. Plus, it wasn't raining this year! That ALWAYS helps with fireworks! I got too hot again today doing practically NOTHING so I'm gonna eat ice cream and rest in the a/c before bed. Second attempt.

	Heading out. We have a very early call tomorrow. SunLord has an appointment to have his teeth cleaned and he has to be there between 7 and 7:30 am. I hope I don't have to stay up all night to wake everyone up at 6 which I will have to do if I can't get the setting on the clock changed. My fingers are sore from pushing unresponsive buttons..... 	Romeo decided to go on walkabout last night and hasn't come back yet. Needless to say, not much sleeping was done last night. SunLord has a vet appointment this morning so I'm currently waiting for Romeo while Skywise and the girls take him over. He's having his teeth cleaned so he won't be back until this afternoon. Skywise took the day off so he could pick him up and had plans for the time if Romeo doesn't show up, those plans will probably change. He just called. They changed the check-in time and I didn't notice when I confirmed the appointment. The day just keeps getting better.

	After waiting for nearly 90 minutes we had a 90 second meeting with a vet tech and were allowed to bring SunLord home. He's lounging around and just chillin'. Everything went well and we aren't expecting any complications. Romeo hasn't returned. This is out of character for him but we're trying not to worry. If there's a cat in this family who knows how to take care of himself, it's Romeo. I'm just gonna keep telling the Universe to get that cat home!

	First up! THANK YOU, Skywise! Sanctuary's software is now in agreement with my internet service provider and I can do my thing without restriction. We did our usual "between paydays" shopping today. We didn't have much to get but we're STILL looking for sources for some items we got at the now closed grocery store. Romeo still isn't home....
