	Afternoon. The rain didn't amount to much -- not that I'm complaining! According to tracking, my Chicago screws are out for delivery. The end papers "may" be out too. They "should" be but tracking says that their still sitting around in Indianapolis. Skywise and I are hoping that the package just missed being scanned and it's on the way.

	The Chicago screws arrived but not the end paper. I'm hopeful though, according to tracking, the package IS moving. I put the screws in and can now do the final fitting of the strap that will hold the very large book closed and settle on a couple of other design details. For the last couple of hours, I've been researching and editing content for the book. All in all, a good afternoon.

	Got the tea but not the nap. sigh So far, the contents of my "scrapbook project" total 591 pages which translates to 295.5 sheets printed on both sides. A lot of the pages have space allotted for material that haven't been filled in yet so the page counts for those sections are estimates. I just did some "quick and dirty" measuring/estimating and the Chicago screw posts in the project will hold just under 500 sheets of 24# paper. That translates to 1,000 pages and I'm past the halfway mark. I may need to move some sections to another book. Which means making another book. This is in addition to the second book I'd already planned to make. My fingers hurt at the thought but at least I know how to do it now.

	Afternoon. Everything I was expecting today -- and one thing I wasn't -- arrived so naturally, I ordered a few more things! I miss prowling the stores but shopping online at least lets me get the things I need. Today, it was earrings and cloak clasps. Oh and something that Skywise wants to have on hand for the van. Getting caught up before I take the end paper that arrived up to the Old House and get to work on the scrapbook cover.

	The end papers are glued in and under weight since the darn covers are wanting to bow slightly. If worst comes to worst, I'll store the book flat and, if need be, in a book press. Hopefully that won't be necessary but if it is, I'll make a dedicated press just for that book. I WILL NOT BE THWARTED!!!!!! The "heavy lifting" is done on this one. All that's left is some "decorative" stuff and a covering for the spine to protect the exposed edges. I've gotten the measurements so all I need to do is figure out how to get it to look like I want. 	I've been getting some stuff ready to print out for "the project". It's pretty straightforward stuff, all text, that just needed to be formatted -- and reformatted -- and then done over because I had transferred it from another document done in an earlier version of my word processing program and changed the font and font size to boot which messed things up considerably. Yes, my eyes are tired and my brain, if not completely fried, is pretty close. I should eat before I start on another section.....

	Morning. It's beautiful today. Mid-seventies and low humidity. Gonna enjoy it while lasts. My glucose reading last night was 73 -- which is the very low end of normal. Yes, I'm happy about that.

	I'm glad we don't live in Minnesota in general and Minneapolis in particular. If what they've done holds up, the city will collapse and the state could follow. I'm glad I live in Indiana with a Republican governor and state administration.

	Afternoon. We've been wrestling with the scanner which has decided to work differently that it did the last time I used it. Probably an "automatic upgrade" no one bothered to tell us about. I've gotten done what I wanted to do -- which took three or four times longer than it should have -- and now I'll get caught up. Pody # 42,900

	Just checked the national radar. It looks like the "leftovers" are tracking more to the west. Which means we'll get wet but hopefully not massively flooded.
