	Worked on serious kitchen cleaning today when I wasn't resting my knees which took entirely too much time. Also hunted up some illustrations online to use on a personal project and played with the new scanner. Dinner is currently in the oven. The power stayed on tonight too. So I got some things done I had to do and some things I wanted to do. All in all, a good day. Post #43,123

	Afternoon. Been busy this morning and I'm just getting around to posting. Among other things, I've been looking for completed pages from Celtic Alphabet Designs by Creative Haven to use in my "scrapbook" project. So far, I've found only one. Finding them online would speed one part of the project up enormously but it isn't looking good so far.... Since my temper is on a hair-trigger today, I'm going to do things that are tedious and require as much concentration as possible so I don't blow up over nothing. Staying away from facebook as much as I can will probably help with that since there's a lot there lately that enrages me and I can't do a damned thing about any of it.

	Watched AoS tonight. Certain people are being royal pains in the butt. How the admins of that FB fanpage keep their sanity is beyond me. I'd have blown a gasket long ago. My BP readings are up in any event. They'll be down tomorrow but right now, they're a bit higher than I like. The final two episodes will be shown on the 12th. I want to see how it turns out in the end but I'll be sad to see it go.

	I am SO tired of Facebook right now. Between some AoS fans going off the deep end about one actor's absence from most of the season, to others debating "time travel" like it's a real thing (which it may be, after all) and not an element of a fictional story used to "change the history of the series" to "politics" -- all versions -- and Covid-19, my patience is at an end. I think my online time would be better used to do a little research. Then, I think.... tea and a book. Catch ya later.

	Skywise just called and he's on his way. He agrees that cutting the grass tomorrow is probably out. It will still be too wet and the low spots in the yard -- and we have a lot of them -- will be mini-swamps. Knowing him, he'll find something else that needs doing. No shortage of THAT around here! 	Afternoon. All Honor and Glory to Hermes whose intervention gave Skywise the reflexes to save us from a collision with a pickup truck speeding out of a liquor store parking lot this afternoon. It would have been bad -- driver's side, just in front of or at where Skywise was sitting. He would have been badly hurt and I'd have to kill the other driver. (Not kidding either. My "toolbox" has some nasty things in it these days. ) There was another vehicle beside and a little behind us that also avoided colliding with us. So, thank you, Hermes, for your protection. 	Skywise's best friend, who has had lupus for years, is going into hospice in two days. He's already said his goodbyes to her and she's said that she's "ready to go home". Gods grant her an easy passage.
