I suppose it never hurts to reemphasize these things...

[size=16]I've never run across any folklore that maintains that a female vampire can have a child. [size]

Have a look a Japanese Mythology, dear.  The Nipponese vampire is a living creature*, a race of demonics which, like all demons can reproduce just like humans can.

*Note:  I am talking about the mythological aspects of vampire stories.  Western mythology has the vampire as being either an undead human or a demon (usually a form of Incubbi).

Hmmmm. Sounds like there might be "story fodder" in there. I'll look into it since my reading has been confined to Western folklore.  *Goes off thinking about various forms of literary mischief....*

I guess  iwas talking of real life living vampires. the living part would put the rest the disfunction that come with body death.

Not a "keeper" huh. *sigh* Oh well.
I thought I'd throw a little folklore into the discussion since most of the "myths" we've been discussing are derived from those sources or popular culture. Say the word "vampire" and a certain set of expectations spring to mind based on those sources.

And a very "hot and charming" one he is too.   Smiley
The reason I started researching psyvamps in addition to the folkloric/fictional ones is that I realized that some of my favorite people are vampires and that I should know more about them. When I got into energy work and was finding very little on the subject beyond the basics, I realized that psyvamps were likely to know more about energy than anyone, seeing as how their health and wellbeing depend on it. And I was right as far as certain applications go. So DK knows not to be surprised if he sees me lurking around the Vampire Forum.

As long as you know I was contrasting "vamp" with "vampire", LOL.
